Who said he loves Inter more than Chelsea? i think this all post is a bit too hypothetical. You belive he prefers Sneijder to Lampard & Zanetti to Terry? where did you got that from?
-
You're right, i shouldnt have said Arsenal, but its clearly not the point, the point is that you can win things with kids, but you have a bigger chance with more experience in your line up and squad. You mentioned some of our more experienced players but probably 2-3 of them will be in the first line up in the next 1-2 seasons.. and more importantly, i think a trio+striker of Hazard-Mata-Oscar/Moses-Lukaku is a bit too naive when it comes to scoring goals and especially in difficult situations, all that when you actually want to be the best. I think a main difference between us is that i dont think we should now wait a couple of more seasons and just than try to win everything. i think that in the coming summer, with the money we have, we need to complete our squad so it could compete against the best teams in Europe. With the right manager and the right players, i think we could and should reach that. I think we need 2-3 players to go straight to the first eleven to become a real force. I dont think getting Lukaku to be the first striker is the right step if you want to become a real force straight away, thats why i think its the wrong move. Now my vision isnt that far from yours, because im only talking about a proven striker and about a CDM instead of Mikel, and maybe a CM. For example, im open for the idea of playing Oscar or KDB in the pivot, as a first choise, if the manager will think they are the right choises for his vision. But with a striker its different, a striker have a very specific role, a job he has to do in the most important-big games. When we will probably need to buy a 3rd striker, i dont see a reason not to buy a top top striker when Lukaku is still 20 and have a very long career ahead of him. Other top teams have at least 2 top strikers, we shouldnt have that becuase of Lukaku's future? * You kind a went far with my comment about "romance", it was a joke. * About Falcao, maybe he havent played for a very big club but he lead two teams to win EL scoring tons of goals and for two seasons he's a big force in one of the best leaguse in the world. and i think this thing with "but not proven in PL" is a big exaggeration from people. PL isnt a different level of football, not at all actually, and a very very good player like Falcao will be successful everywhere, imo. but as i said already- im not talking only about him.
-
Its like you just said to youself: "I have to reply to him no matter what i actually have to say because he doesnt think like i do". The first seconds i started to read your post i preperd myself for a childish post. Im not your enemy and you seem like a reasonable writer, write like one. 1. PL is the league we're playing and Lukaku played there more than Falcao, thats something, but not realy equal to the fact Falcao is more experience than him and his far more proven, so as other top strikers, not just Falcao. 2. Every signing is a gamble, you probably know that, but a "One good season outside Belgium 20 year old (in WBA)" as our first striker is probably one of the biggest gambles you could see in todays football. Gambles are a must, but the goal for a club in our size is to win everything the next season, and with so much pressure on a player like Lukaku, the chances for this goal to fail is bigger than with a more proven leading striker. 3. Its like you just dont want to try to understand. My point is we need to have some balance when it comes to experience (i wrote 25-28 because they are probably more experienced than a 20-22 player, wasnt that obvious...). Real, Bayern, Barcelona and others, they all have that balance. I havent got what you meant about "Eden Hazard's age seem to be holding him back?", but its clear some of our players are still very young and a bit naive. A winning side have to have those more experienced leaders. 4. Great, he could do that even if we'll get a top striker, if he's realy good. 5. Now falcao is a tart? anyway, like i said i dont think the all squad has "to grow together", its very nice and romantic (well, we buy those players so it isnt that romantic), but i dont want us to become Arsenal, i want us to win trophies, soon. One new striker wont destroy this "growing toghther" issue, it will just give us more balance, something that is vital to win things.

I think starting the season with Lukaku as our leading striker (together with Ba) its almost irresponsible as starting the season with Fernando "might got back to his old self over the Euros" Torres. No, i dont think Lukaku will be as bad as Torres, i actually think he could do very good next season, but even if you are excited as me about his wonderful job at WBA, there are few things: 1. Lukaku is 20, and when he'll come back next season it will be after he was having only one good season in one of the best leagues in Europe. 2. Are we sure its enough? we're Chelsea FC, and in the last 9-10 years our goal is to be the best in the business, to rely on Lukaku in this part of his career doesnt give me the impression of it. Its a pure gamble for a team in our level. 3. Our best players- the attacking midfilders, are very young, now lets say we'll get a 25-28 CM in the summer like we're hoping we will - i still think we need another player who is a bit older and more experienced. Imo its vital for our next leading striker, to lower our naiveity around the box. I read the article, and when i think Falcao is the best in the world and my personal "fantasy" as our new striker, i also think the points of "Falcao not the best suited ST" and "Value for money" are legit, but i wouldnt be too certain about anything when we dont know who'll be our manager. i think saying we cant afford him is a bit rubbish. First, lets not listen to rumors about his 250k - 290k wage demand (i read about 290). Second, i dont need Malaga to tell me about FFP because their problems were very different, they havent paid their employees, they have very big debts, its not the same as buying Falcao or not. FFP havent proved himself as a game changer.

But he doesnt play alot because of Jose, so that doesnt make alot of sense.

Tweets via @PipiEstrada1 - sportswriter for Marca & Punto Pelota who had a chat with an unnamed player expected to sign for #CFC this summer On the player's future (1/2): "I do not know, depends on events. Depends on Jose Mourinho. If he goes to Chelsea, I go to Chelsea" #CFC On the player's future (2/2): "And I have said before that Mourinho is very close to signing for Chelsea so we will wait and see" #CFC Carvalho?! If im not mistaken its the same guy who said Falcao is a done deal for us.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi: "If Ancelotti wants, he will still be here. He has done an excellent job" "Carlo Ancelotti is one of the best coaches in the world if not the best" "Carlo and Leonardo will continue with us & at the end of the season we’ll balance the sheets" (Le Parisien)

I think Torres is one of the worst strikers in the best 4 leagues in Europe. maybe not in worst 10 but he's in a bad spot. And its the 3rd season in a row for him in that 'form', so my answer would be a stong "no". Rumors and fans talk about him included in the deal for Falcao, Torres wont be a first choise stiker in Atletico and definitely wont find a much better form than he "founded" here this season. (for that reason, i dont think he'll be included in that sort of deal because Atletico will have to find another striker, probably a big name who also play like one).

Benitez is an awful manager, i had enough of it. First, our game off the ball- wtf with that? what are we trying to do? we played like 30 games under this joke of a coach and i dont know what we're trying to achive in that apathetic defensive game? just waiting for the opposite in the 18 yard box. and he will never change it, it works awful game after game, still no change in tactics. Why Azpi on the bench? what as he done wrong at RB? Ramiers on the wing... how many times until he'll get its the wrost thing for us when we're with the ball? I saw you picked Cahill for MOTM, sorry, he's a very poor CB for those levels. Yeah, he does have very good headers, and he is great at those suicide tackles, but god... he isnt a smart defender. Game after game he loses his striker so mannyyyyy times. Its unbelievable he's still playing, and he even gets credit from you and others. Today he did stoped Aguaro's shoot, did it well, but only after he lost him and aguaro got the ball under his nose- which is classic Cahill. I realy had enough, he isnt good enough and we should sell him to City/Arsenal for like 7-10 miilion and get a real quality CB who will also replace JT in the coming future.

alright, but its not what yossi meant.. he talked about Chelsea.
-
I dont want Ronaldo here. I appreciate him very much and i realy not one of his haters, but i just dont realy like how his teams play. I mean i like watching Real sometimes, but not because of him. I dont like teams who are relying so much on an individual, it always seems like he isnt one of the group, he's more like playing near them. and then the all team looking a bit like bunch of very good players and not realy a group. I think its one of the biggest problems in Real Madrid actually, but it also got them the La Liga when the rest of the individuals were in top form (Benzema, Ozil, Di Maria).
-
Realy? did Torres not got enough chances in his first season? i think he did, too much if you consider we also had Drogba.
-
Everything Yossi said was okay except this: "in my opinion the situation with him was managed badly from the beginning", and "he did not get the confidence when he came in". This is so stupid to say those things because its not true, but especially when you're playing for Chelsea (maybe Yossi forgot it... or he doesnt care because he'll leave in a few months). I mean i know Yossi is a very good friend for Torres, but he shouldnt have said it. Thats too much "kiss assing".
-
lol i love this guy... he realy should have stayed, i still think he was our best solution for the CM role when we havent bought anyone in the summer. I mean Lamps scoring like crazy lately and he's amazing, but he doesnt offer a lot more and off course he doesnt offer the attitude of Meireles defensevly. Raul can press better than anyone in our squad, maybe with the expection of Ramires, but the difference between them is that he can pass better than Rami and he's also a lot more responsible when he's playing the deeper role. It was so stupid to rely on Lampard, Mikel, Ramires and Romeu, and to let go of Essien and Meireles (and not getting someone else).

Match Fixing - Did it affect us?
nadavTKL replied to We Hate Scouse's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Right now I belive to that source from Tancredi Palmeri twitter, i belive the fixed games in CL were preliminary games. It makes sense, no reason for those criminals to do that kind of stuff on the big stage, especially not in the semi finals of the biggest clubs tournament. -
Sissoko is great and i could have seen he'll be a big succses in England, but he's not the player we need in midfield, and we have a player with abilities that reminds his (Ramires). We dont need to go after every good player.

Look i like Anelka, and its just a brilliant move for him, but dont say its a smart move for Juve. If Juve were smart in their all "striker situation" they would have a top striker right now, Anelka isnt one for some years and you cant say he's better than what they already have. I know Juve fans and they are all angry about their management. For them Anelka is another try to "weakening" the failing of landing a top stiker, like they did with Bendtner last summer. Only difference is that Anelka is class, lets see if he could show some of it after so much time (last time he played outside China was more than two years ago, and in China he only scored 3 goals in 24 games).

No reason to spend alot of money in this window, this team still can and should get the 3rd spot, rafa is a joke and he should stop crying, the guy did almost nothing in three months, and got the team to look pathetic at times, Roman is 100% agree for not wanting to spend his money for Benitez's wishes. In the summer we'll have a new manager and we'll spend tons of money on players to complete our revolution in the squad. Right, we are lacking a CM right now when Mikel and Romeu aren't playing, but we shouldn't buy someone for 20-30 m when Benitez will probably make the call. If we could get someone good and cheap like Capoue so let's do it, otherwise no.

I dont think getting into the quarter finals will be enough for anyone in Real Madrid... Anyway, why listen to Independent, and when they are talking about a spanish club?
-
The number of times he fails to prevent one-on-one situations for the opposite's striker (especially in counter attacks)... i think its too much. Nobody talks about that but Cahill doesnt read the game so well when it comes to cover strikers, and prevent them from getting a crucial pass.
-
I didnt said you claimed they are all world class, by "nowhere near world class" i meant they are realy arent that good imo, and maybe City can do better then them (when your goal was to show how good City's squad is). Nasri stood out in Arsenal for like 4-5 months, not even a full season, since then he isnt showing he's a world class player. I thought he is myself, but he's continues to disappoints in City and i can see them getting a new AM soon. Sure he can pass and dribble, but thats not enough.
-
Nasri, Barry, Clichy, Balotelli- nowhere near world class imo. City's squad is very good, but they have problems. City not just did "not well" in the CL, they did terrible, especially this season. but i do think its not because of the players, its about Mancini who is an average tactican at best. With a top manager their football could look alot better.
