Havent seen him in a full game but i already watched that video on youtube couple of weeks ago... seems like the player we need. What i havent saw in that video its his defensive game. I understand he plays in the double pivot for Betis but i'd like to see how he plays that role when off possession. like DYC. said i think the deep-playmaker in our team needs to be energetic and aggressive in his game, even if he isnt big physically. Betis are actually playing in 15 minutes i see... i'll watch some of that.

The fact we need a CM doesnt have anything to do with Lampard or his departure, we need a CM who suits our current style of play, or at least the style we are trying to play. I can see Oscar developing to be that kind of player but it could take time, too much time, right now Benitez doesnt even try him there so it cant be too close. For me this position is such a weakness in the team i would have brought a CM this January right after we got Ba, if i was the one who call the shots. My favourite is Moutinho.

Luiz cant play midfielder, never. His decision making is so poor. Shooting for no reason, long balls to nowhere, and it happens ALL THE TIME, every time he gets the ball he tries somthing big and he's doing it awful. just bad when he's with the ball.

To tell you the truth like some others i did thought we can fight for the title after the last few games IF we'll get some players in this Jan... im happy that the team showed me so early how wrong i was and how naive they realy are, i was a lot more disappointed if i would have got it in March.

I would too, but lets think about it- why would they give him to us on loan? Barcelona dont have any scorers besides Messi right now (Pedro havent scored for 21 games), i dont think Villa will get into the first line up this season, but he can definitely contribute to them. They can sell him for 12-15 million in the summer too (for some Russian club probably).

For us to get passed United we need to get realy stronger in Jan, imo with a great CM and a great striker. Not Negredo+Walcott. 8 pts is not the end of the title race in the PL, but we have to be very good.
