anyone whose been to Tottenham can tell where the chavs are at. always nice to see them so bitter after having their dreams turn to shit.

the transfer window isn`t like shopping when you are a skint student. buying what you need first then seeing if you have money left over for something else is not how it works. you buy what you want when the oppurtunity arises. Glen Johnson was the first player bought in the Roman era was anyone thinking back then he was seriously our number 1 priority? i certainly wasn`t.

so you saying KDB can only play RW and can`t get in the team more than 50% of the time if he has good competition? Oscar will more than likely play deeper so there`ll be plenty of games for KDB on RW and CAM. where he was gonna be before Willian came onto the scene.he`ll be back up for Mata and Willian. Belgium will still qualify for World Cup ,more importantly for most Chelsea fans we will challenge for every competition we play in..

Yoda,you talk like.

ever since i heard of his name a few years back i thought of The Smiths song:" William,It was really nothing." so let`s see who can convert the lyrics into a terrace song in his honour and to rip the piss out of Spurs. here are the original lyrics in black..my "remix" is bolded next to it The rain falls hard on a humdrum town The pain falls hard on the Tottenham slums This town has dragged you down Those slums have dragged you down Oh, the rain falls hard on a humdrum town Oh,the pain falls hard on the Tottenham slums This town has dragged you down Those slums have dragged you down and everybody's got to live their life And God knows I've got to live mine God knows I've got to live mine William, William it was really nothing William, William it was really nothing It was your life ... How can you stay with a fat girl who'll say : How can you stay with Levy who`ll say: "Oh ! Would you like to marry me ? would you like to carry AVB? "And if you like you can buy the ring" and if you like you can play on the wing She doesn't care about anything we won`t win anything Would you like to marry me ? would you like to carry AVB? And if you like you can buy the ring and if you like you can play on the wing I don't dream about anyone - except myself ! i don`t dream about anything except 4th place. Oh, William, William it was really nothing William, William

I think either Oscar or De Bruyne will play deeper if we sign Willian.not necessarily in the double pivot but not on the wing or #10. Mata can go back there.there's a chance Mata could leave I admit but Don't think it's the most likely outcome.

Tidy debut. I'm sure he'll have better games as he adjusts to the team and grows as a player through experience but very good start.

No need to add which half was the best, the half when they were attacking towards me..it's all about meeeee. :tophat: I Don't think Jose told his players at half time to step off the gas in the second half.just a fitness issue. I enjoy world cups when they are on and European championships have been fun but apart from that international football is just a pain in the arse.

Can remember the day they won the league at white hart lane ,I was on the tube afterwards and about 40 arsenal fans were on the platform being gobby.I looked up from my book to see what the noise was and they started doing cut-throat gestures to me.I wasn't even in Chelsea colours. That was what 9 years ago now? Karma is a bitch.. The Arsenal board played their fans to get season ticket sales up,like taking candy from a baby..it's bad but I hate them so it's funny.

At the right price.I'd want him,and no I'm not talking about transfer fee.Ballack was a "free transfer" but one of our most expensive. We aren't being realistic when we talk about target's like they have to be at their peak when we sign then. Young players on the rise and older ones past their peak can still do a job for us. I'd like to have him in our rotation,I hope we Don't overpay to get him but it's down to the club to take care of that. We Don't have to offload first.maybe those words I keep seeing are not meant literally but the transfer market is not like buying groceries where you may empty the fridge before you buy more.you get what you want whenever you can and let go of what you don't want later if you have to.
-
He's proving he can do a job on a mid table team.much like Lukaku has really,Lukaku younger tho.
-
Haha...There was a player for Chelsea called Jack Cock.
-
why bring Rooney into it? I didn't. I Don't want Eto'o that badly,Jose should play on the fact that eto'o wants to link up with Jose again.when good teams are smart they Don't have to overpay for good players. They can use the draw of winning new competitions to bring them in.winning multiple competitions elsewhere does not dismiss the fact that he could be drawn by the opportunity to win different trophies here. I Don't recall Man U paying over the odds to get Laurent blanc,Henrik Larsson etc.. Who are these other clubs that want him?
-
All i know is they were winning 1-0 and Strootman scored.
-
Out of recent players only Frank Lampard,Petr Cech,Michael Ballack and Gary Neville really go against the grain. Didn't use to be the case but think the money involved in football in the last 20 years or so has made alot of talented kids not bother getting educated.
-
Not bad considering how many years France have been better. Well unless they have only played each other 3 times or something.
-
Would have thought Belgium would be up for beating France every chance they got, can't be many over the years.
-
I used to like him when he was captain of Chelsea but he's no expert..footballers generally can't string too many words together so t hey do scrape the barrel when it comes to trying to find ex-players to comment.
-
Jose should say to him something along the lines of if you want to come then it's for the chance to win New trophies, not for the salary. Offer him two year contract for around 60k a week ,take it or leave it.
-
Looks like David Luiz got lost muff diving
-
Geoff Hurst was the manager in my first game ,we were playing in the second division(now called the championship) and Stamford Bridge had been sold to properly developers. We did beat Newcastle about 6-1 tho. I was 5 and only allowed in the East stand at home games and family stands at away games until I was 10 and could throw a good left hook. Hope you enjoy the experience, the bridge is too small for a club of our size now but it's still a beautiful and special home.

Or different people are sharing different opinions at different times. For what it's worth I've never said either.

As a Londoner I know everything north of Watford is Up North. :tophat:
