  1. ..to then going to the team who are a direct rival in every trophy front? Yes, that is questionable.
  2. I saw this coming and got ridiculed when suggesting Frank had done this anyway. It was an obvious statement. He'd signed with NYC, a franchise of the same owners as City. His paycheck comes from the same source who pays our title rivals. This comes as no surprise to me that a loan deal is in the works, I sincerely hope he declines.
  3. Wow, I leave 3 days and we've gone and sold Lukaku Watching Mourinho's pc after the fact tells a lot, he was disjointed and didn't look happy, he rarely looked up either. But he also deflected when asked if Mourinho was disappointed. From this I think things got very heated with Mourinho & Lukaku/his agent/his father. It seems as if Lukaku tried to hold the club to ransom and Mourinho called the bluff. As I said before, someone's led Lukaku to overestimate himself and if that's only led him to go to Everton..... It says a lot about how other perceive him.
  4. Remains to be seen what he means by 'first team'
  5. I still have a hard time forgiving him for walking out on us. offered a new contract multiple times but decided he could further his career elsewhere, big mistake.
  6. Either Milner or Barry, I think it might have been the latter actually!
  7. This is reassuring. I didn't realise Shaw was asking for this much, at least it shows there was interest. if wages were the stumbling block in this case, it is understandable why we didn't pursue it. Shame really..
  8. I think this is where the old 'don't feed the troll' phrase is applicable.
  9. we should really thank Bates for funding such an expensive transfer haha. I remember it was between Frank and Milner, the latter having meant to be cheaper.
  10. the most ironic thing is, you've demonstrated the only antisemitism in this thread.. sure you're not an antisemitic?
  11. Just not sure how I feel about this. On one hand it's a step backwards by the club, on the other we're in need of experienced leaders now we've lost Lampard and Ashley.. In any case, he does belong at Stamford Bridge. I'd have preferred as a coach, but meh.
  12. "Cesc: New signing Fabregas seems to be settling in to life with Chelsea, a club he swore never to play for"
  13. Wenger's said his German players are likely to miss the beginning of the season for additional recovery time. Wondering if Mourinho will follow suit with Schurrle..
  14. Of course there's nothing wrong with projecting the type of player he'll be, but not when it's in comparison to another. How about instead of Del Piero/Aguero, he'll be the new Jeremie Boga
  15. it's the same thing, you start with 'he moves like xxxx' then it becomes 'he has potential to be our own xxxxx' and finally, 'he could've been the next xxxx'
  16. It's sad but I do agree. Chelsea's system of loaning is as flawed (if not more) as it's academy.. So many players are being buried by these useless loan spells
