  1. This was a difficult one (wtf is that LDN Blue guy?!).. Fulham Broadway edges it
  2. Glad to see Max post more around here & all the other make significant contributions to demonstrate their knowledge. I always look out for a DYC post. They're usualy concise, accurate and to the point.
  3. Not sure if patronizing Torres or serious..
  4. No you moron, I think you mean the Azpilicueta thread
  5. If this signing is happening, then it's got to be happening soon. He didn't take part in Brazil's summer so it would be ideal if he could take part in pre-season training with the squad.. On the other hand, i'm sure the club have a plan b if this doesn't happen.
  6. Yes but Zidane will still remain an influential figure at Madrid, even if it's just to make a phone call to a prospective target. & yes, Madrid have been linked to all these attacking players. But they're not going to let go of a their best young defender yet, he's still only 19/20 isn't he? Either way it will take big money to lure him & after signing Zouma you wonder if that's worth the punt.. yet.
  7. It's more than Mourinho v Real. It's incredibly difficult for Varane himself is Carlo, for example, asked him what he wants to do. Real Madrid and Chelsea aren't on different levels for him. Though Real Madrid are current European Champions he'll know Chelsea are always competing and go further than most. Money won't be an incentive because I can imagine he already earns a bucket load. He'll look at where he'll play and be settled more.. Carlo is a good man manager, he will not need Zidane even, if he guarantees Varane a starting role then Chelsea are powerless. As for a buyout, this kid is probably one of the best young players in the world and they would have probably priced that as appropriate.
  8. Newcastle don't do conventional short term deals do they? 6 years for De Jong and Cabella
  9. Often forget David Luiz is 27.. He's not a 'young' player with 'potential' anymore, he should be at his very best like his buddy Thiago Silva. I agree that Luiz will never be world class now if he's not reached it by now. But now he is PSG's problem, so good luck to him!
  10. If he's sold, guarantee he'll badmouth Mourinho and/or Chelsea
  11. there's a Neil Young concert tonight too, I believe! he's probably going to that
  12. I don't buy this. many players interrupt their holidays to sign a contract. why did Fabregas, Sanchez, Shaw etc? I feel there is more to this than a simple 'he doesn't want to interrupt his vacation'
  13. To be honest Iseah100, can you blame his pessimism? We've done this before, McEachran, Chalobah, Ake, etc. Youth prospects that we believe will break through and end up in the trash can. it's a reoccurring theme. Until Chelsea bring through, legitimately, a youth talent this pessimism will be justified.
  14. Come on, that doesn't mean you can't empathise when he's genuinely upset? Rich people have feelings too
  15. It's pointless, doing it for the sake of doing it. On this, we might as well retain Ba for another season, I doubt Drogba's wage demands have dropped considering what he got paid in China and then Gala.
  16. I don't think this 'rumour' will go away until he comes back as a coach.
  17. There's a vicious rumour going around this has magically turned them into title contenders again.. I still don't think they've got it in them.
  18. Did I miss something? Why is Henrique still 'most controversial', his posts seem to have been more in line with most member's opinions this year
  19. Seems to be the Man United way, see messrs Smalling and Jones..
  20. Wow really, are we that spoilt now? we want to pick other players over our own stars? Advocating Hazard for Reus?.. This conversation speaks volumes about how spoilt we've become.
  21. I don't know. you guys are calling this a steal, but I'm just not convinced. £30m seems a fair price to be honest, he doesn't look a £40-50m player yet at all.. The best thing is, with Arsenal's track record he'll become a squad player and he won't be utilised to the potential he has. He'll be rotated with Walcott, Carzola and probably Oxlade lmao.
