  1. Well considering no-one's said anything of the sort.. i don't really see where you thought this up from
  2. Oh yeah, I forgot about Cech's injury! He probably won't then
  3. ..then my worries would be correct
  4. This is why I'm not worried about our right-wing coming into this season. Willian and Schurrle have this knuckled down between them, Salah incoming too, so we don't need another pacey winger as far as I'm concerned. If we do then it's on the left hand side as cover for Hazard, but even then either of those 2 could interchange. "pathetic" is a bit excessive . It's only cause he's played way more minutes than usual, the 60 minute man even played extra time
  5. Mourinho had a point when discussing his diving. When a guy like Robben dribbles at that kind of pace it's inevitable he's going to try and get chopped down and attacked so there does need to be greater protection from referees. But some of his dives have been outrageous and I can only hope Van Gaal is telling him to cut it out smh.
  6. I've always hoped in my lifetime I'd see peace in Palestine, but as each year passes I know that becomes more and more unlikely
  7. Yeah, he's still quite raw but his a Mourinho guy. Works hard on his defensive game and his offensive game isn't far off being world class yet. Even Di Maria struggled initially at Madrid before these reviews and £50m sums came about.. I think in terms of priorities for this squad too, Di Maria is very low on that list.
  8. Yeah I mean I don't mean to say he'll be a Juve boy all his career but certainly he's showed no signs of wanting a move yet. He's starting to establish himself as world class but he's not there yet, I'd imagine he'd stay another season with Conte.
  9. Willian can't catch a break on this forum, can he? I feel like I'm the only one who thinks he's got world class potential in him. His work rate is better than Di Maria or anyone else we're linked with and that's the only way you become a world class talent
  10. I'd be worried if this approaches £20million..
  11. But you can't get sentimental just because he's a boyhood fan. Shaw is a boyhood fan but he's at Man United, in football it's often irrelevant who the player supports. The club will have taken note of his discussions in the media, didn't Mourinho once say "he likes to talk, ask him why he's at Everton"? When everyone blamed Chelsea/Mou for him going on loan and after that realised it was Lukaku's decision. Well it doesn't really contribute to our youth system. He's not from our academy.. Hell if he's sold to make way for Bamford, then it's actually a blessing in disguise huh? (not that it will happen )
  12. Glad for him, it's a shame he couldn't break through here. Was well on course before that injury set him back, I'm sure he's grateful that he's just back in the game though!

  14. A part of me feels he's purposely doing this to engineer a move away. José probably told him that he's going to be in the mix of it, but gave him no guarantees. It's just sad to see him speak out so much, he came to Chelsea so humble and discussed how he loves the club. Yet he doesn't understand that every time he speaks about his situation it simply looks bad to us. I still want him to have a future here, but if he's so infatuated with not wanting to have competition then good luck Rom :tophat:
  15. That makes sense, but with Pirlo on his twilight years surely Pogba's importance would rise in that team? Plus, Sanchez is apparently in London to finalize his Arsenal deal Not really complaining if it's true, but I find it odd.
  16. I think we'll see Cech and Terry, they didn't feature in the World Cup and Terry is already in training.
  17. Terry's instagram is quite good, paid tribute to Ashley Cole today. Good to see the old guard starting to embrace social media a bit more.
  18. I don't get it from a Juve point of view though, getting rid of probably the best young player in the world at the moment to get Sanchez? Unless he wants to leave, which his agent has denied (somewhat) I don't get it. They're not in financial trouble, Conte has agreed to stay on another year too.
  19. A real Frank Underwood, aren't you? I wish I was still a mod so I could bring down your reign of terror!
  20. Wycombe are a team based in High Wycombe which is about an hour out of London. We're playing them as a testimonial for one of their players. -- Anyway, hope we get to see Fabregas and maybe Costa. Though it's probably unlikely we'll see any WC starts, imagine it's a mix of our stars who didn't go to the WC + returning loanees.
  21. Makelele mk II? (in terms of being cast out by Real Madrid, not on ability lol)
  22. The categories are in Alex's second post. He'll open these categories for nominations, the 3 popular nominations will be put into a poll and members vote for one of those options and they win the category for their contribution over the season. Simple enough concept.
  23. Not sure about comparing Suarez/Liverpool with Falcao/Atletico. Athletico Madrid are blessed with being able to get effective strikers, Falcao was well known to the world and he replaced their previous star Aguero. It was a big name, match winner for another big name, match winner. Liverpool aren't doing that, they are doing a Tottenham and filling their team with players who are good squad/team players but there's no outstanding talent that's going to take the game by its throat. Yes they did well without Suarez in the beginning but from then on it was Suarez who won them most their games that brought them inches to the title. Though I see why Liverpool can't replace him, if indeed they're trying. Right now Liverpool isn't as lucrative as other clubs, they've got European Football but most will look at Suarez as the main reason for that. So the departure of Suarez sends a signal that they're not in a strong enough position to guarantee the same season.
  24. He's definitely a default choice. That passion he shows and his vocal support are attributes you associate with the team captain, he'll do a fine job in Silva's absence.
  25. The logo looks so bad lol, like someone said before, it would've looked better on the eye if they just had Chevrolet's name and not logo.
