Yeahhhh hopefully yesterday will be a case of that

Right? Doesn't have to be on the pitch mate, cheating comes in many forms etc, no one saying we cheated on the pitch
-
What cheating? This is related to agents payments... Zero influence on the pitch.

Why would I complain at the time when no one knew? What a stupid argument to make, fact is we all up in arms about Man City should get this Man City should get that, but now it’s us it’s a different story 😂, been charged with 74 counts, you can sugar coat it all you want but it’s cheating, also the last part of your message I never said anything about loosing titles you have just plucked that out of thin air, what I originally said was I’d blame the previous owners over the new as it was Roman era where it happened, I don’t blame any one for paying 3 billion pounds for a company to then find out it’s had some dodgy stuff going on in the back ground and then bringing it forward willingly, saying it was never going to come out isn’t a bet I’d like to take after spending 3 billion. are we that pathetic as fans that we would rather win at any cost that cheating is now acceptable as long as we don’t get caught? If so football is done.

Will never understand these type of transfers where 99% of fans are strongly against it and ends up exactly how everyone thought it's going to be. We had many... Bakayoko, Drinkwater, KDH, Disasi, Badiashile, Felix... How is it possible that average football fan has better knowledge than highly paid professional in a top club? How they cannot see something so obvious?
-
Never scored more than 1 league goal in a season since arriving in Europe. Now already 2 after 4 games. Not his job or something we expect from him but if he adds that to his game we are talking about perfect player.
-
Pochettino loved Disasi. Was number one in minutes that season. No wonder we almost conceded 2 goals per game.
-
So we've wasted hundreds of millions of pounds and we still have a mediocre goalkeeper and defense...

It's been done. Man city did it and won many titles. Yes, of course the coach has to pick and choose the games, but the key to it is the depth of quality in the squad. Numbers alone won't cut it if you intend to be competitive into the latter stages of multiple competitions. There are at least two more games in a Champions League campaign than when we last won it, plus individual games in all competitions last longer than they ever have before. Obviously there are domestic games where only the top team will do but the ability to rest 4 or 5 players before a big midweek fixture, and 4 or 5 others the weekend after, is a massive advantage for any manager aiming to go deep in all competitions. The problem of course is being able to afford to recruit and pay such a squad. We aren't there yet.

Different sides though. Kudus looks a good player in parts but would frustrate the life out of you. If he gets that real ruthless streak in him, he could potentially be a very good player but it remains to be seen if he can deliver at a much higher level week in week out. He has only hit double figures for goals 3 seasons in his whole career. One of Gittens or Garnacho shouldn’t of been signed so we could have made a move for a more established left winger for them to learn from (and to be more likely to be aboe to contribute directly from the get go). Or even someone more in the mould of Pedro Neto’s age bracket perhaps. Simons wouldn’t have came here to essentially be a back up to Cole either I think. I know we were short on the fee but he went to PSV & Leipzig to play regularly instead of being a back up/squad player at PSG. I cannot see how a player of that quality would have been happy to sit on the bench while his primary position is occupied by our best player who plays when he is available 90% of the time. He plays out on the left also but he is definitely more of a central player.

I would take Kudus over Gittens any day of the week Such a shame that Spurs got him and Simons.

Agree with this. PSR rules are arbitrary & made to benefit some groups more than others. If we unfairly took direct advantage over other teams in securing multiple top players, or directly influenced match results through unscrupulous means, that's a different story because it mocks the competition and puts other teams on the back foot. The only way BlueCo will look good from this, is if they manage to stave off serious punishment from the FA & the Premier league. Anything else will look like an own-goal from the owners.

Even if Maresca wanted to rest some players or rotate, this isn't the way to do it. Who rests both available starting full backs (not to mention both right back options in James & Gusto), and plays CBs all across the back line? He did this last season too,.ahead of one of the conference league games

That approach won’t work. The quality of the English league is too high - we cannot afford to play passengers for a league game I would argue Europe is still where we need to play a lineup like the one today
-
Think it’s going to be made clear to Maresca VERY soon if it hasn’t already today that Gittens won’t be the starting LW any time soon. Garnacho being PL proven and having a bit of arrogance about him will see him being the main man there quickly. Hopefully starting with the next game if he’s fit enough. Gittens looks shellshocked that he hasn’t been able to just blast by everyone in the PL so far. Looks like a timid child every time they show a close up on him after a failed move. Very Mudryk like. Still don’t get why we decided to go for him at that silly price and did so in an expedited way. Like someone at the club genuinely thought he would immedietly be a top player. Looks really dumb so far. It’s like he’s 100% a data driven signing. You see the dribbling/take on data being amongst the best in Europe and think that’ll instantly translate to the PL. But even most of us who watched his footage could see he was nowhere close to a £50m+ winger.

Exactly, it was interesting to see the early subs but it was obvious we were off the pace after the international break. Hopefully the likes of Facundo, Gittens, even Guiu start to pull their weight as squad players, its going to be a Long season!

Are Forest that much better than Brentford though? Really? They have same points so far this season. Even today, in their game v Arsenal, they were awful and didn’t start playing to they were 2-0 down. Plus when does attacking resources combat poor defending? It never has and never will. You keep mentioning these attacking resources and firing us to the title. If anyone thinks Delap, Gittens or Garnacho are title winning attacking players then I don’t know. If your team cannot do the basics defensively you will suffer in games like this one today or if we ever make it to the big boy table and become title challengers, big matches against competitors where it is very cagey and tight. And Brentford is a difficult game and has been for seasons, be it Thomas Frank or Keith Andrews now. I mean did Brentford play any differently today to how they played against us under Thomas Frank? Not really. They’ve got a solid foundation, ability to play various styles of football and the core of their squad is still from a relatively successful period with Thomas Frank in terms of where they started and where they now are. Keith Andrews was a part of that coaching staff also so its not a completely new ideology.
-
Almost like we sold our starting striker and starting right winger from last season and our star player has been out of the side for 2 games 😆 I know Gittens & Madueke play on opposite wings but man....talk about a downgrade in talent. No wonder why Arsenal dropped their interest in Gittens, the kid is still super raw.
-
Can see Garnacho doing alright for us. It’s Gittens you want to worry about… seriously worry. Why the fuck are we playing Tyrique George as the striker in any game at all? That’s also very worrying.

In the end then my opinion is that the legacy the Kirk should be follow is that of debate. Weather I agree with his view point or not people should be able to do that. If we truly live in a free society people should voiced their opinions in a respectful manner and safe environment. As a Christian first I don't agree with all of Kirk views, he used to put his devotion to his political affiliation often time first and when you do that it will influence your ideas. If I had to weight into how much I agree and how much disagree I will say 70-30....it's made up just like that so I'm not sure. I can say what I don't agree with, as I stated before I don't agree that weapons is a god given right (this is core under the maga, right wing ideas). We shouldn't have that kind of power for the reason that according to the bible we are a falling race and people under those conditions can do scary stuff. Sin in the heart of man drives people to do crazy stuff. I can also say I don't like how he attacked immigrants at times, as well the bible speak about this that we should take care of the foreigners and treating them fair. Of course bad people can come in and we need to take care of ourself for that, but we should help people that really want to be here not criminalized them. Those are few things that I heard from him that I don't agree. Might be more if I take more time to listen him carefully. But this is my opinion after taking my time to listen carefully what he has to say, not depend on the opinion of some Journalist that write with a bias and thus might not be honest with the content they have as they will chose and pick what fits their agenda.

we change a lot our line up If we puted a stronger team since the beginning, I think we would won it but with IT would be impossible to do that We are overload of games. Plus, we participated in CWC and we knew that would probably cost us this start of the season
-
If this were the Brentford of the last couple of seasons under Frank with Mbeumo, Wissa, etc running around I’d agree. But this Brentford side today were only going to cause us problems in one particular way and we played right into their hands. Sit deep, barely have any of the ball, long balls, long throws, and time wasting to frustrate us as early as the 30th minute in the game. To combat this you have to play it quicker and force them to defend relentless pressure.
-
I'd argue even without the Colwill injury, the club should have been in for a quality CB this summer. Clearly they are putting a lot of stock in Fofana and Badiashile..probably because no one else will buy the always injured pair. If neither of them are able to step up their game this season, it will be another mediocre ride.

What’s most frustrating is the CB situation. It was obvious to a blind man that our CBs aren’t good enough to win a title. Don’t tell me the ownership aren’t aware! That’s why when the window shut without getting a top CB I knew this ownership isn’t serious about winning the league. There is not one single argument to justify this obvious neglect. Such a slap in the face for players like Palmer who aren’t being backed properly with surrounding ballers. instead the board only care about future sales… which is obviously bizarre when you do dumb buys like Mudryk and Gittens.
