Teams win matches even with 10 players, while when we went with 10 it starts some panic and panic subs! We remove all atacking players and put in all defenders we have on bench! Thats not the way you have to defend when we are with 10ppl.. Remember the game with Barcelona in Spain - we were not with 8 defenders and 2 def midfielders!

Overall I'm quite happy with him but his over use of just one superlative to basically describe every single player we have, can begin to grate.. I do think he has some good qualities tho and has a different and better mindset than Maresca.

Yup, they get their accountants to look at the club, confirm its a 'viable asset', mainly from TV revenue, so that serves the profit purpose, then secondly it feeds their egos -look at them in the stands, trying to make out their shit doesnt stink, and most of which have that Trumpian sized bloated fragility. What fucking gets me is how they abuse fans, taking away senior concessions, travel concessions and in some cases even kids and the disabled ! That and taking fans for granted - who, lets be real these custodians would be nowhere without attending fans. They ought to at least remember that.

Not a good look to ban non-offensive banners at Strasbourg – opinion

That is true. Still cannot believe we went from Abramovich to these charlatans. There are far more Boehly & Eghbali’s than Abramovichs out there. As you said, its effectively a fashionable thing now for these rich wankers to just buy a football club, treat it like a play thing & just ensure it makes a profit. Granted the tourist industry, huge interest in the PL from global & domestic trumped up TV deals haven’t helped either. Well they have financially clearly helped clubs and the league but for owners, it kills any chance of ambition. Why would a club try break into a top 6-8 spot if they can just ensure to keep that TV money rolling in every season for instance? Or at the other end of the scale, us, huge global brand that has been built beforehand. If you could acquire the club, reduce the running costs, build a structure where you can sign players develop them at another club before taking them back, get European qualification prize money every season for one of the 3 competitions, why do anything differently? Look at Palace, FA cup win & a season in Europe yet flog their best players. Their manager is willing to walk away as opposed to stay as he clearly thinks they’re not ambitious enough. And thats with an English owner…. -
🚨Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia has injured in training and will be out till the rest of the season @SkySportPL

I'm still in the lets see how he adapts. Im not sharpening the pitchfork after 2 draws. That does not understate how disappointed I was in those draws. I'm still giving him time.

This is why the only managers that make sense is the one that is at Strasbourg. Anyone who works there will come here and the board should just hire them. So they continue with their youth stuff as that is what they are doing in France.

Shocking decision to ban the banners but is anyone surprised? BlueCo have ripped the heart and soul out of their club. And they are doing it here also. They think what they’re doing is working, clearly. The day new owners come in will be a day welcomed by so so many here & probably even more so in France. -
Fabregas would be off his head to even consider coming here. Won’t happen. All the next big managers, we have no chance of enticing them to come here without major changes off the pitch. Anyone with half a brain will not want to work within this structure and particularly with these sporting directors who have burned through £1.75 to 2 billion of transfer money without facing any accountability. This is why we have ended up with Potter, Pochettino, Maresca & now Rosenoir. And 2 of them left due to “mutual consent”….. so go figure.

Good news for Chelsea player Kendry Paez who seems to have avoided any serious injury https://Chelsea.news/2026/02/good-news-for-Chelsea-player-who-seems-to-have-avoided-any-serious-injury/ It looks like it’s good news for on loan Chelsea player Kendry Paez who seems to have avoided any serious injury. Paez has been playing for his loan club River Plate after a failed loan move with Strasbourg earlier this season. He had just been starting to get some minutes when he had to come off with a shoulder injury in his last game. At the time, it looked like it could have been a pretty bad one because he was all strapped up in an arm sling after the game and his face was grimacing in some pain. Thankfully though, it does not look like it will be anything serious and if reports are true, it could even be as little as two weeks before he is back playing again, which would be great all things considered. Paez injury updates Kendry Paez in action for River Plate. (Photo by Rodrigo Valle/Getty Images) Bolavip reports that Paez has a ‘minor shoulder injury’. This should keep him on the sidelines for at least two to three weeks, which is also agreed upon by another source below… Studio Futbol also report the youngster should be out of action for two to four weeks. So really, it’s good news all around. The outlet state: ‘The two-to-four-week timeframe will be key in determining whether he will only miss local matches or also more demanding games on the schedule. Everything will depend on how his shoulder responds in the first days of rehabilitation.’
