Sell Pedro. Put out briefs about signing Osimhen, Alvarez, Lautaro and sign Kroupi/Rayan 😅
-
indeed and all are older, except for Hugo Ekitiké, who is 9 months younger than Pedro here are all the CFs I rate at Pedro's level of above (I do not count the 3 ancients, Lewa, CR7, and Benz) strike-throughs are not available in order of valuation Erling Haaland soon turns 26yo Kylian Mbappé turns 28yo in December Ousmane Dembélé turned 29yo today Alexander Isak (perhaps they might sell but what a MASSIVE dice roll, and I so doubt Pool sells, as when healthy he can be a beast, he turns 27yo in 4 months Julián Alvarez turns 27yo in January Hugo Ekitiké turns 24yo in a month, plus is out until 2027 with a horrid Achilles rupture (Pool are now so cursed) Lautaro Martínez turns 29yo in 3 months Victor Osimhen turns 28 in December then my 2 personal targets to replace Pedro IF he is sold and IF we fail on the 3 CFs in bold above: Junior Kroupi could soon be at Pedro's level in a year or 2, he turns 20yo next month, he has 12 EPL goals in basically half a full EPL season's minutes as a teen Rayan Bournemouth's other teen striker, has 7 goals in only 1000 minutes, with 5 of then in the EPL, and he deffo can play CF too

i assume his price has went up much more than that. anyways, even if its just 80m, we dont have to sell him so his price should autmatically be even higher.
-
If he absolutely demands to go in an aggressive manor then in a vacuum we’d probably let him go reluctantly. But even under that circumstance I don’t think Barca could even afford him. Our asking price for a far inferior striker last summer was what, £60-70m? If that’s what we were seeking for Jackson then JP has to be worth considerably more. There are maybe 3-4 players in our squad who we simply couldn’t replace with equal quality in our current position and JP is one of them. Should be a strict not for sale stance.
-
we bought pedro for 60M euros. ofc, if we sell him, we need to demand at least 80M euros or much more
-
if they sell pedro for anything less than 100m, then they are really retarded. there are literally less than 5 class strikers who are available and are on the same level with pedro, so we have to use that as a leverage and squeeze out as much money as we can. we have to have a fuck off asking price. especially since if we sell him we have to buy a replacament, and there are not a lot of them. i dont have a lot of confidence in emegha and especially not jackson. i would sell delap and jackson, loan out emegha and buy a backup for pedro.

Depends. If the cash is right they’ll do it because thats all they care about. A potential replacement is already arriving on a free transfer from Strasbourg. Not to mention, Jackson is returning. Plus what if he looks at it and wants to go? I would say trying to sell the club to any player in its current state compared to the likes of a Barcelona or Madrid is going to be pretty hard. These kind of serious, ruthless big clubs will smell blood this summer, they’ll look at where we finished in the league, level of/lack of European football etc and if theres someone they want make a big move. Would stop using the words “top quality” when discussing replacements also. Will not be happening.

How about improving the fucking team and footballing structure 🙄 Also aren’t Jay Z & Beyonce not involved in that noncy Epstein island shit?

Sam Kerr to leave Chelsea at end of season after six years https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/48770687/sam-kerr-leave-Chelsea-end-season-six-years Striker Sam Kerr will leave Chelsea when her contract expires at the end of the season. The Australian is currently one short of matching Chelsea's record goalscorer Fran Kirby having netted 115 times in 157 appearances for the club since joining in January 2020. Kerr has been one of the stars of a trophy-laden spell for the Blues, twice winning the Women's Super League Golden Boot and helping the side to five WSL titles, three Women's FA Cups and three League Cups. "When I reflect on my Chelsea career and doing it for the last time, I just feel happy," the 32-year-old said on the club's website. "Happy that it happened, and I feel so grateful to have played for this club for six years and won as many trophies as we could." There have been difficult times, too, with Kerr sidelined for 20 months after sustaining a knee ligament injury in January 2024. Kerr, who captains the Australia national team, is set to make her final appearance for Chelsea in Saturday's WSL clash with Manchester United. This season she has scored 16 goals, becoming Chelsea's leading WSL scorer, and the club said, "We thank Sam for her incredible contribution to our success on the pitch and sustained growth off it. We wish her all the best in the next chapter of her career."

I was not spell checking, I have never done that on here that I can recall. I was pointing out the use of of an incorrect word: 'bare' when the correct English word in that sentence is 'bear'.

There is just no chance we can sell João Pedro this summer. Of all our “big” players he is the least easily replaceable. We FINALLY found ourselves a striker who has the potential to be a consistent 20 goal per season scorer and then sell him after 1 year? Surely no shot. You can find other high quality #10’s to replace Palmer or #8’s to replace Enzo if we ever decide to sell them. But reliable goal scorers are extremely rare these days and theres a reason there was a mad scramble for a bunch of them last summer. Unless we ourselves go and get Julian Alvarez then theres just no way we could get someone better than JP.

He does some serious promotions, if growing your brand in the US is the goal, it is a good move.

What?

unbelievable player, so glad he gave us his best years. Really miss him♥️💙
-
not surprised if he leaves, much more stability in Barcelona than here. Hopefully he can stay, but either way let's milk Barça if they want João Pedro.

💣🔵Barcelona are planning to begin negotiations soon to sign Joao Pedro. Even though the talks are still in the early stages, it is speculated that the deal is likely to be worth around £86 million, including a fixed amount and bonuses. It will take a lot more signings and a lot of adapting from the players at the club to shift to Iraola's style of play (turning over the ball high up in the pitch, quick transitions) than it will be to adapt to Xabi Alonso's style.
-
Yeah, I think theres a reason that pretty much nobody holds his Real Madrid spell against him. Everyone agrees that the locker room was running the show there and it has since proven to be the case even more recently. That’s why they’re breaking the emergency glass and bringing back Mourinho. They need a authority figure who takes no shit.
-
Alonso had over 70% win rate at Real. Not his fault the locker room is filled with petulant children who thought they were above pressing and tactics.
-
Then the same questions will be asked of Fabregas, Marco Silva (fulham to Chelsea is a step-up), Glasner (CP to Chelsea). Even Alonso did well at Leverkusen but then couldn't handle Real Madrid's egos. We are a project club now and that's the reality. Will be interesting to see who is in the final shortlist for the manager position.
-
This kinds of things are always said about any manager who excels at a smaller club. But playing this kind of football with Bournemouth(or Glasner playing the way he does with CP) doesn't necesseraly mean they would do the same at a club where they have better oppurtunities. Maybe it just means they are adapting to their current squad and trying to get the best out of it.

🗯🔵David Ornstein has raised fresh concerns about Andoni Iraola’s suitability for a “big club” job like Chelsea. Speaking on The Athletic FC Podcast, Ornstein explained that while Iraola is highly rated and admired for his work at Bournemouth, stepping up to an elite club like Chelsea comes with a very different level of pressure and expectation. He pointed out that Iraola’s aggressive, counter-attacking style can be highly effective at a club like Bournemouth — but at a top-six side, the margins are much smaller. According to Ornstein, the main concern isn’t Iraola’s ability, but the environment he would enter at Chelsea: • More scrutiny from media and fans • Less patience for slow starts or losing runs • Higher consequences for tactical risks (like being exposed on the counter-attack) He also referenced past interest from Tottenham, where similar questions were reportedly considered during their managerial search. Ornstein stressed that Iraola could absolutely implement his philosophy at a bigger club — but the key question is how quickly results would arrive, and whether Chelsea’s structure would give him the required time and stability. Alongside Xabi Alonso, Iraola remains firmly in Chelsea’s thinking, but concerns about “big club transition pressure” are clearly part of internal discussions.
