Gabriel Jesus has 14 goals in 16 starts for City and is just 20. Saying he's not a goal getter isn't exactly accurate. The kid scores. I think the point is Man City lacked the dual threat they now have from the fullback positions and the runs Mendy and Walker make really open up the pitch for their other star players. Playing with 3 at the back also helps them to shore up their defense while at the the same time allowing for both Gabriel Jesus and Aguero to play as central strikers thus no over-reliance on one man to score. It also helps Jesus is now available from the start of the season this time.

I watched city against bournemouth this season. Maybe the stats say otherwise but my eye say that Aguero need to play, because unless they got lucky they will not score because this gabriel Jesus guy is not a goal getter and this team need a goal getter to accompany their creative player.

Next game after that pep start aguero since the beginning, the floodgates hasn't stopped.

Maybe because of the formation, not so sure. I only watched them once after that against Liverpool but Mane got red card so it is hard to analyze the game.

Spurs being Spurs.

Not getting all this City wank fest, won't buy into it.

Tbf they are much better this season especially on fb positions and they are no longer have gk drama which is a problem for any team.

On squad quality alone imo the two Manchester clubs are the best team. But it was also true last season.

Both Manchester sides blowing everyone away. Pretty embarrassing that we can already forget about goal difference after only 5 matches.

The United team/attack isn't even better or more talented than ours is I'd argue. Just everything going for them this season like it was for us last year.

Rooney banned for TWO YEARS after drunk driving. How drunk was he? There goes your Rooney, motherf**kin media. Giggs slept with his brother's wife, Rooney could've killed someone while driving like that, and again Terry will be biggest villain of all! Speaking of anti-hero, right...

It is. Martial, Rashford, Mkhi would all start here ahead of Willian/Pedro. Could even make a case for Mata tbh. Their attack in general is much better than ours (-Eden).

Good! One of the most selfish things anyone can do. Just got lucky! Whereas others could've got unlucky

Not that matter much to him probably...and they'll be excuses from some always are

Ehhh. I don't know. Martial and Rashford are more talented but just as wildly inconsistent as Willian and Pedro. Mata wouldn't start for us at the moment. He'd be the same liability that Cesc is. Mkhitaryan is solid but nothing really special. Their attack was awful last season with the same players. Just so happens that the goals are coming now.

Hopefully once Hazard is back to starting every week we'll look much better. That, and Bakayoko + Kante providing a platform for the attackers.

So far nothing really suprising at the top, maybe spurs struggle at home because of wembley. I expect the two manchester club to be the two best teams this season, they had two best squad last season and spend the most net spend this season.

Arsenal is still the same as always. The same thing for liverpool, brilliant going forward, leaky at the back  We looks ok, I don't expect us to destroy teams like last season as team get used to play 343 which is the main reason we won the league.

Crazy that man city had a goal difference and now gone in one game..

If it makes you feel any better, we had a GD of +20 after 5 league games in the 2010/11 season and look what happened at the end of it.
