Edge of Tomorrow - 8.5/10

I'll start by saying I am NOT a Tom Cruise fan. But after seeing so many great reviews I could resist no longer and watched tonight with the family. Boy was it worth it, what a good sci-fi film this is. I recommend it wholeheartedly, Cruise puts in a fantastic performance and Emily Blunt is just as good! I wasn't expecting half as much of the humour we got. Great job in spite of a DREADFUL marketing campaign.

I am off to see TWO films at the cinema this week, on Monday I am seeing Nightcrawler (Jake Gyllenhaal fuck yeah!!) and on Friday I finally get to see Interstellar (In Nolan We Trust). So reviews for those coming soon!!

Edge of Tomorrow - 8.5/10

Nightcrawler- 9/10

An actual piece of original film making in between all the superhero movies, remakes, rehashes etc.. Yes it was awesome. Jake Gylenhaal was absolutely phenomenal in this, a career defining performance for sure and this is from a man who loved him in Donnie Darko. The story was excellent and the length was just right. Great mix of humour and suspense. Highly recommended! Go see!

Watched it on release date, it definetely is a contender for the best Sci-Fi movie of all time. I recently finished watching True Detective and now I have to say Matthew McConaughey is an outstanding actor. He is young and has a brilliant future ahead of him.

Big Hero 6 and it's another stupendous film by Disney. Utterly witty, heart warming and plenty of action to enjoy. Brilliant.

I watched Snowpiercer yesterday. 7/10. I would describe it as psychotic sci fi action. Reminded me of 12 Monkeys in some scenes, but not that good.
