This is seriously sick. Absolutely fucking sick. When will the governing body step in and put an end to City's madness? When will this out of control spending stop? Why the fuck is this allowed.

Half a billion pounds or something spent since Pep arrived.

Player that has a back-up out for a few weeks. No probs, buy a new one for a club record 68m. That's the spirit.

How does one compete with such blind ambition...?

Haha, this is what it felt like to be a non-Chelsea fan a little over a decade ago. City is flexing.

This is it.

Gutted to see one of my favorite non Chelsea players go to rival but I'm glad it's not any of the others. City are already insane going forward. Mahrez won't move the needle for them at all I don't think. He doesn't make them any better. Had he gone to Arse, Spuds, or Liverpool he would have.

My only wish is that our club takes note of what City are doing here. To see that FFP is a total sham and that we too can spend whatever we want with impunity. City will dominate English football for years to come if we don't keep up.

The problem is Pep can make him better, like he's done with Sterling.

But who does he replace? Swapping him with either of their wide players doesn't really change anything. They get no better or worse going forward. They're already getting ridiculous production from wide areas.

Hes being bought solely because they can. They have "fuck you" money and want to say "fuck you" to everyone.

I'd be annoyed if they got Fred; he'd be a baller for City. Any Shakhtar player would be. Mahrez? Not so scary.

He comes in for Sane straight away if the move happens. It's also not just about who he replaces this is City building a fucking absolute monster of a side where the bench is 200-300M worth of players.

They are building a squad to win everything.

Soon enough their bench will be stronger than our first XI. Scary thought.

Tuchel would guarantee three things: 1) scoring goals 2) conceding stupid goals 3) he'd leave/get fired after two seasons because he'd fall out with folk over transfers.

Business as usual, except we'd look like 90s Newcastle for a short spell.
