However Petr Cech is so much more than just a goalkeeper, he is a leader, he helps marshal the back four, he is a calming influence in his willingness to come collect cross-ins and his excellent kicking, he is an inspirational figure. It must be such a bonus for the lads in the team to know that in our goal is one of the finest goalkeepers of his generation (imo the finest).
