The Bundesliga's official site confirmed the transfer of Schurrle. Only awaiting confirmation by the club.

"On this page, transfers of players on the current transfer list of the German Football League Association are published Monday to Friday"

Wolfsburg have a press conference at 11.30 GMT so I imagine we will find out more then

Anti-climatic, Dieter Hecking just saying Andre will not be in the Wolfsburg squad for their game against Frankfurt tomorrow. Doesn't change anything though...

Luiz was quoted as £50m in every report I've seen, granted it was english newspapers or sites.

it was quoted so but our recent breakdown on finances gives a different result.

Although that wouldn't take in to account future add ons, or am I mistaken?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one that noticed this, but Schurrle was our blogger after Mata, before that it was Essien. It seems to me like it's some sort of kiss of death as far as their Chelsea career goes.

Schurrle's last blog: http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/12/schurrle-s-end-of-year-blog-.html

Hopefully they don't let Hazard write one soon. :D

it wont.

but considering it would be like barca's add ons which included a minimum number of matches for some sum + if they win so and so trophy then some sum, and considering how poor psg have been in ligue so far, i wont count on it.

"Meanwhile the Bild website (in German) is reporting the total cost of the Schurrle deal will come in at close to £50m..."

I imagine he'll be on a 5 year contract. £25 million transfer + £100,000 P/W and you have £50 million

It'll probably be less than £100k though, that £50 million will include some sort of agent fees and signing on fees
