I agree about Griezmann, he could flop easily since he won't be the main man, will be playing on the right (as opposed to in the middle or on the left where he normally plays) and more defensive work.

But Turan, what does he add that we don't already have in Willian and Oscar?

Agree with the last part of your post. Don't buy for the sake of buying. Get someone who can score goals or don't bother. Rather buy a big talent like Fekir, see how the likes of Willian, Oscar and Cuadrado do and make changes next summer if necessary and/or quality players are available.

And looking at Mourinho's words, the club is not in the mood to just buy. Don't blame them at all.

I agree on Cuadrado, think he gets next season to see how it goes, after that if things haven't gotten any better, he goes. As for Oscar, not sure how long we can keep hoping he will perform or bring up the excuse of tiredness etc.....He's looked out of place for a lot of last season, and whilst having a good tracking and chasing engine you need to have more than that if you are to be a top #10....he hasn't showed near enough for me.

Willian's performances in the #10 for the last few months were exactly the level Oscar has to be at next season.....I can't see him every being that good because Willian was immense.

I agree about not buying for the sake of it, I just think Turan is a great player, i certainly wouldnt say no to a deal involving Salah or Luis for him + the sell of Cuadrado.

Fekir would be a smart and a great buy, though he wants to stay in Lyon for another season. He said it, and the lack of rumors might show his intentions...

Mourinho has made it well known he's not giving up on Oscar. I would not have minded Oscar leaving for good money this summer, as long as a quality player came in to replace him, but I'm convinced Mou is serious about Oscar. So I'm just waiting to see how it turns out, and I hope Mourinho is right. The league and the League cup were won with the likes of Oscar and Willian so it's not like the club is in a poor position, desperately needing to improve. So I'm slowly starting to accept a bit of patience, even though I'd like to see it differently, is required.

I think "another" Willian or Oscar is better than Cuadrado for this team, he'll add more competition. He is a top RW/CAM, creative, experienced, Mourinho surely like his work-rate.

I cant see any better options, so it will be a great buy imo.

Nah I disagree. I think Mourinho bought Cuadrado to add something different to the attack.

Before him Mourinho had Schurrle, who could come in and add instant goal threat.

There's also players like Ramires, Mikel to change the dynamic of a game.

It's typical Mourinho to have contrasting options, which is why I don't see Turan as a likely signing.

Im getting feeling that only Bale would DRASTICALY improve us on RW. Think Bayern. Ribbery and Robben are quite similar to Hazard and Bale. It worked amazing for them.

Current top wingers out there are Griezmann (physicaly weak), Sterling (shit finishing), Turan (not fast and too similar to Hazard).

I think Griezmann could work too, but he would have to improve alot and adopt to PL.

Bale suits PL like glove, he is completely different from Hazard/Willian/Oscar, can score key goals, long range threat, FK specialist. He had average season in RM, but IMO he realy doestn suit their style and the idiotic demands from their fans. We lack some power on wings, either a strong winger or someone who is realy good with ball and can keep it. Maybe Griezmann and Turan are good options, but I dont think they would elevate us to next level.

Sadly he is not avaliable.

Whilst you may have a point and things may pan out as you say, it looks like we are in for a winger, whether it be Griezmann or Sterling(or whoever) and with Willian being Jose's main stay I really fail to see where Oscar fits into any future plans. Oscar won't settle for a bench role, and whilst it's a long season the potential inquiries about Sterling/Griezmann(Supposedly) suggest he would have them as wingers plus an emergency #10 if needs be.

You might be right. I just really dont rate Cuadrado, and i cant see him succeeds here. Its always a lose-ball wating to happen with him.

we are exactly in the market for a player like hazard, we need a creativeness, skill and dribbling.

just watch the psg game for instance hazard was covered by 2 to 3 players all the time because laurent blanc

knew that without hazard we lack creativity up front

Unlike Schurrle he is a left footer and has goals from the right side of the field. Don't see a reason why we can't utilize on his runs and intelligence. People make it out like he can't pass a single opponent. He won't be ideal on the RW definitely, but he can settle there.

Turan is a fantastic player, but I don't think he improves Chelsea tbh. He works brilliantly in Atletico's set up, because of his hard work, the quality of his defensive play (probably the best defensive natural attacking midfielder out there) and his strong technique, but he's not player to make the difference. And he's the wrong type of player imo, as Oscar, Willian and Cuadrado offer similar qualities. Rather see someone like Walcott joining, who is inferior, but complements the other options.

Chelsea's problem last season was finishing games off. Chances were there, but the ball didn't go in. The quality of the performances in the big games is another issue.

I have to say, the rumours aren't that strong imo. We see these stories every summer. Hulk, Aguero, Falcao (previous years) and countless other stories. I wouldn't be surprised if Hazard-Oscar-Willian was the starting '3' next season.

We need diversity in attack imo. Someone who can take long shots and use speed and power through opponents, lethal on counter.

I think we would do fine with two hazards too, but there are not many actualy no players similar to hazard available.

Wont happen, we simply dont need a player like Griezmann

Definitely, Cuadrado and Willian guarantee you 40+ assists and goals per season, they make that RW their bitch.

People see them roooollin' they hatin'
