The Skipper 20,609
People call Ronaldo a selfish player because he's like it on the pitch. That's just how he plays, but no one criticises his personal life. No one actually knows him to do that.

I think he's the second best player on the planet, but the criticism of him has nothing to do with his personal life.
OneMoSalah 8,887
Ronaldo cannot possibly still be unhappy, hes getting paid shit loads of money doing the thing he loves and hes fucking that Russian bird. What is there to be unhappy about?

OneMoSalah 8,887
Money does not equate to happiness. Neither does an attractive partner.True but you'd think someone like Ronaldo would be happy with what he has compared to most regular folk. In fact if I was playing football professionally for any team I would be extremely happy, so its beyond me how he can be unhappy within Real Madrid somehow. Madmax 9,219
Ronaldo cannot possibly still be unhappy, hes getting paid shit loads of money doing the thing he loves and hes fucking that Russian bird. What is there to be unhappy about?I'm not saying he's suffering from depression but depression doesn't care about status, money or sex life. It's a horrible illness and people are usually too quick to dismiss depression among footballers (or any rich people for that matter) jokingly with lines like 'Yeah, but I bet the paycheck softens the blow'.You all should read the 'Secret Footballer' column that appears on the Guardian every week. It's a fascinating insight into the world of a professional footballer.

Eventually what you have isn't enough, and when you already have everything, it's hard to find a reason to continue. We always strive to better ourselves and it's hard to do that when you already are the best.
Jype 6,398
Money does not equate to happiness. Neither does an attractive partner.Of course not but that doesn't change the fact that we can pretty much count by using our ten fingers the number of people on this planet who wouldn't switch places with him in a heartbeat. If he's not happy playing football or simply hates the media attention surrounding him all the time, what's stopping him from retiring at the age of 27? It's not like he has an obligation to continue playing till he's 35 if he doesn't give a fuck about doing it anymore. The media would soon lose interest and he could move on to live a long and happy life with his family. I'm not underestimating his problems if he indeed does suffer from some sort of depression because I happen to know for a fact how serious that shit can be, but Cristiano is privileged enough to have better solutions to his problems than regular folk. I know a few people who kick ass with how they write but when it comes to verbal communication they are not so good...
Cosmin 2,484
I used to hate Ronaldo a few years ago. Then, I grew up.It's immature to hate on someone just because you think that person is arrogant or selfish. He's arrogant because he can be. He is one of the best in the world at what he's doing. If that's not a good reason to be a little cocky, then what is?

Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
i never hated ronaldo tbh, sure i disliked the days of him winning for Man u but 'hate' nope. I dont know why but i like that bit of arrogance he has on the field that like "yeah i scored, so what?" in today's world acting like that is frowned upon and often scrutinized, which for me is a shame. Now surely i dont expect for players to come out boasting and trash talking at every turn but to be able to express yourself and most importantly back it up is a real gift that isn't present much today. Rmpr 8,977
^Body art doesn't affect your ability to donate blood, you can do so once any bruising from the procedure has healed completely. It depends on each country's law. In Brazil you can't, even after a long time you could end up transmiting any sort of alergy to the personal.Have no idea if it is true or not, but its the law so... KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Lol, I'm sorry but where are the CR7 haters? All over the internet. What planet do you live on?If someone (which is the majority) thinks Messi is better than RonaldoKeep telling yourself that. Droves of people are realising how Ronaldo is getting robbed. That 'Majority' is shrinking very quickly.
