LDN Blue 7,903
N Zogbia?this just shows how desperate you guys are for a new signing.N'Zogbia is a great winger. There's another ex-Wigan player people had the same reaction to when he was getting sold. Antonio Valencia sound familiar?
Joker10 946
Mind if I use that as my status?I don't mind.N'Zogbia is not good enough for Chelsea, just look at the clubs that are being linked with him that should tell you enough. thank god Kalou is not playing for Wigan because you guys would go over the moon for him. But seems you've made up your mind quickly. I'll just quote what Sir Bobby said about him once,N'Zogbia could go to the very top with the right coaching and motivation, and I hope it is with Newcastle. I signed him as a teenager and he was one of the most naturally gifted players of that age I'd ever seen.

I'll agree with what you've said to an extent. His decision making is poor and his attitude has cost him a chance to excel in his career early on, however under Martinez, N'Zogbia's become a much more matured player who's actually brilliant on the wings. He's a good set piece taker & more importantly he can cross. His career can be revived once more, and can be the player Sir Bobby believed he could be. Under Villas-Boas I have no doubts about this. He is not a Kalou-type player, that's for sure.
Kieran. 6,317
I like N'Zogbia a lot. He's very underrated. Great at crosses and set pieces.

Spike 12,049
Villa have agreed a 9.5m fee with Wigan for him.... according to SSN.That is a fairly good deal for Villa. Sell Downing for 27mil and buy an equally good N'Zogbia for 9mil.

Sheva. 5,373
Lol N'zogbia is the better player. But obviously Liverpool want just English players, so they took Downing
Liquidator 5,176
Dave Whelan was asking for about £10m for him which is pretty good value although I would not be surprised if he took advantage of the amount of money we have and push the price up for us a bitHe is 25 so I would say that he has probably not peaked as well although his attitude could be a problem (I don't see him as a week in week out starter for us)
magicrico 175
i think The Zog is quality....I'd have in in the team any day...20 mil for young and downing, this guy is better than both IMO. You'll never see Young or downing do this to win a match http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcaz_AiqhCkEdit: Against A Big Team
SeB 1,281
What I like about him is that he is decisive in the big games, his game has little waste because the number of opportunities that his team provides will not allow it. So he knows when to do what and when it should not be, contrary to Johnson or Downing who are stereotyped catapults and too bad if an important part of the balls they provide are inexpoitables for their team matesN'Zogbia has a good response against players stronger and when he can accelerate, he is very good to pass 2 or 3 opponents. When he goes inside, he always obtain somethingDespite all his first controls are not extraordinary neither his ability to steer the game, but it's quite logical because it is essentially a winger. His passing is in the standard, I think in a big team it would not be so for at Wigan

manpe 10,861
I've always felt, whenever we've played a team in which he's in, that he's the main threat. Certainly a sharp and dangerous player, although I've not seen enough games with him to have a strong opinion. I know a few years ago I thought that he would be a good addition to us whenever I saw him playing... But I don't believe he's ever been linked to us, has he? Wishful thinking probably, I can't see it happening.
