Dave Whelan was asking for about £10m for him which is pretty good value although I would not be surprised if he took advantage of the amount of money we have and push the price up for us a bit

He is 25 so I would say that he has probably not peaked as well although his attitude could be a problem (I don't see him as a week in week out starter for us)

What I like about him is that he is decisive in the big games, his game has little waste because the number of opportunities that his team provides will not allow it. So he knows when to do what and when it should not be, contrary to Johnson or Downing who are stereotyped catapults and too bad if an important part of the balls they provide are inexpoitables for their team mates

N'Zogbia has a good response against players stronger and when he can accelerate, he is very good to pass 2 or 3 opponents. When he goes inside, he always obtain something

Despite all his first controls are not extraordinary neither his ability to steer the game, but it's quite logical because it is essentially a winger. His passing is in the standard, I think in a big team it would not be so for at Wigan

I've always felt, whenever we've played a team in which he's in, that he's the main threat. Certainly a sharp and dangerous player, although I've not seen enough games with him to have a strong opinion. I know a few years ago I thought that he would be a good addition to us whenever I saw him playing... But I don't believe he's ever been linked to us, has he? Wishful thinking probably, I can't see it happening.
