Iggy Doonican 4,186
Have to say I'm delighted we never had to leave the Bridge just couldn't imagine watching Chelsea anywhere else. Really wasn't happy about the proposed move to Battersea a few years ago. I've sat or stood in every part of the ground except the middle tier of the East Stand and the middle tier of the West Stand since my first game in 1975. So that's the Shed, West Stand seats, benches, and concrete !. Northstand terrace, East Upper and Lower, Matthew Harding and Shed upper and lower. New West Stand upper and lower, Shed temporary seating and West Stand without the roof. And even once in the Northstand with my brother watching us lose 3-1 to Spurs what a fucking nightmare that was. Chelsea? 892
How big will the pitch be? Will the fans be close or far. Hope it's nothing like that West Ham field.

Arsenal may be sold out every game that doesn't mean fans are turning up hence the huge number of empty seats especially in cup matches. I notice Man City isn't on the list usually the Etihad is emptier than a hermit's address book
Fernando 6,585
We trying to make 60k stadium right? Do we have the option to expand that in the future? As I think 60k for now is good, but who knows if in 10 years we might want to push it more because of demand?

I understand the problems we had and face (soddin St. Pauls - why did they miss it?) We will only be on par with the red n London club and still 1k behind Spuds. We will easily fill the new seats. But I hope 2 things more than owt 1. Ends safe standing. Not only would it boost atmosphere but you get more people in. 2. We get all our more vocal amongst us back all together hopefully in The Shed end. It was a sod giving away 1/2 the shed to away fans. Nobody could agree where to go and ended up splitting up around the ground. This is the perfect time to change all that. Ive not seen any seating diagrams yet so presume theyre looking at it @Guddy ???? Expand to where ???? Down down down lol

A guy on a french forum said that the places in front of the camera were sold out but to season ticket holders working on Saturday who couldn't attend. And that 98%-99% of the time it's full, the other 1-2% is when the cameras spot it. Brilliant

I know ManCity do have a fast majority of supporters back from the time they didn't have the money they have nowadays. Much like us to be honest. The rest is all tourist fans, but even then the Emptihad is never sold out. Is seriously hope the new Stamford Bridge isn't going to become the Etihad 2.0 with empty seats/stands. Away fans will stay more or less where they are now but the intention is that they are moved higher. The club were asked to investigate a single 'wall' like Dortmund's for The Shed, but said it was a non starter given the space restrictions. They were also asked to investigate safe standing but say they have no plans to incorporate it at present. Personally I'm strongly against a return to standing. I think it'll raise the temperature and increase confrontational attitudes among those who are that way inclined. he game is so much better without that ugliness and I believe no chances must be taken which might turn the clock back to the bad old days.
