Havertz has gone invisible in this second half. And I know it’s City they’re playing against, but Rice as a £100m+ player doesn’t really do anything with the ball. Still a solid defensive screen and has broken up play a few times but he doesn’t offer much with the ball at his feet for the price he was.

That's the benefit of playing in a lesser team, same as Conor, given a lot more freedom and responsibilities, in a team challenging you're invariably restricted somewhat (Rice). That's why I feel Kai never hit the ground here, some players thrive when their luxury is catered to but will still perform adequately if not.

Hope Rice and Mount look back on their decisions in year's to come and have massive regret, not that i would want them now. We are approaching being run like a behemoth of a club model, early mistakes by the new owners have been nipped.

Tbf both those teams double pivot looked quite strong. Kova and Rodri is rock solid as is Rice Partey. Both displayed some clown level defending on the wings tho. Timber is no left back. Toerney not much better. Arsenal are the fitter side atm but with Kai being Kai you can always rely on spectacular misses when it matters most.

I particularly like how they said, no he is a midfielder does not need to finish the chances, Arteta is gonna reinvent him… now they are cluelessly sticking him up front at no9 like we did for yours and the circle of frustration starts for them right in time.

That goal came because of John Stones trying to be cute on the other side of the pitch and giving the ball away that led to the corner. Pep might drop his ass for a month for that 🤣🤣🤣

But as meaningless as this match is Arse will gain a lot,of belief and momentum if they win this now.
