Yeah that is a more simple solution. But since there are no cameras, I see no reason to not use the offside lines. Shite decisions everywhere when it is United related...

now, as you all know, I think the rule of verticality (for balls in the air) is utter bullshit as the ball NEVER touches ground out of bounds (so often this happens when corner kicks are ruled out)

BUT

the rule is the rule

and that kick was out by at least a metre or two

I do not think they have the proper angles to use the lines
