Magic Lamps 11,692
given city are donated goals for fun, we should be more clinical to be on top of them on goal difference.
Term-X 7,891
No surprise, City have the easiest December fixtures of all time, and the timing of the Aguero injury was perfect for them.
Fernando 6,585
Well that's that then, City and United won. Gonna watch the Liverpool match and see how "great" they are playing.
Pizy 18,897
The most annoying thing about these sides isn't just that they play CL finals against us and then lose to our rivals, it's the WAY they lose to our rivals. They literally put forth no resistance. They just pull their pants down, spread their cheeks, and beg for it. didierforever and Blue-in-me-Veins

Fernando 6,585
Liverpool scored out of nothing. It has been really a poor game from them, but that goal came out of Sterling brilliance.

Barbara 15,149
I do believe some teams have more motivation to play an unbeaten team and who's been flying the league. The thing that catches my attention the most is how their goalkeepers always bring up their best games against us - sometimes much above their usual level. Maybe our lack of clinical finishing add to their confidence, but we haven't had a team bow down to us lately - except Hull (they always do).We just outplay them and it looks like they were shit.Maybe City are outplaying teams as well - but a few matches I've watched this month, they were nothing special and mistakes by GK or defenders (and also the referee) assured them three points.Their time is coming and if luck doesn't turn it around, I'm positive we will at January 31st.Also they only played Arsenal among the top 6 budget teams away. They have to face us, Spurs, United, Everton and Liverpool - all away. I think their second half of the season is going to be difficult. As I said many times, I would have wished them to get kicked out of UCL and having a low morale to drop a few points then, but as they qualified, they have at least two weeks jammed with UCL games and as much as Barça aren't even shadow of what they used to be, I'm sure City will focus a lot on those matches... so I believe as long as we keep winning through now and January, we won't leave the top of the table didierforever

And then you forgot that City tend to have more control of the game then us. I mean look at the last time we play them, we was crap against 10 men...That was a pathetic day. The Chels 2,502
Southampton, City and United all conceded a consolation goal while 3-0 up at about the same time (86/87th minute)! At least City didn't get a clean sheet and we've now conceded the fewest goals in the league.

To me it's the same thing. Some teams we beat them easier, and those same teams will be harder against City. Other's we have a harder time and say Arsenal will wipe them away. there is a difference between having control and giving control. against stoke we had control, today after the GK makes such a howler and then the ref gifts them a penalty, they were literally given the control. same was the case against everton too. city have not been anything exceptional despite their winning streak. and that was a one-off. they played well with 10 men against us and similarly were crap against united who had 10 men!!!you are not getting the point here. arsenal hate playing stoke, they have a hard time against them cos their playing style simply makes them weak. but that is completely different from teams putting half arsed performance and simply not showing up!!! petre.ispirescu 4,928
There is nothing wrong in hoping a team playing w/o Zabaleta, Kompany, Fernandinho, Aguero, Dzeko and Jovetic would slip away from home. And the frustration grows when you see Foster and Lescott serving them two goals on a silver platter. Eventually, this is the essence of football - no one can be 38-0-0 in May, you need others to slip in order to win the title. If we are crybabies, I wonder you didn't you put your morgage at stake, City was 5/8 today didierforever
