Liverpools friendly against roma in the US they had a minutes silence and 96 balloons released.

25 years ago and its not even the anniversary. They might as well wallow in it every game now.

Might as well give Roma a minutes silence for the Fall of the Roman Empire.

what why?!did they just pick a random game or was there a actual reason.assume not as it's July

Bradford 30th anniversary next year.doubt the fuss be made seeing as they didn't have minute silence at games played on the 11th last season

Its a permanent event now, grief porn. The families should be allowed to grieve on their own, but its become synonymous with the club now.

As you say, Bradford was equally horrific, and some of the scouse grief could be directed towards their Heysel victims

Arsenal have more English players than we do, how depressing is that.. and who would have thought it a couple of years ago, smh.

How many of those English Arsenal players would you have in the squad over the players we have though?

Fair point.

Would love to see us go after Ross Barkley when he becomes more established, beats £60m for Pogba. Shame about Luke Shaw, no way he's a proper Chelsea fan; if Chelsea were after me.. I'd sack my agent.

Bit harsh on the kid. If he wasn't a Chelsea supporter, United would've gotten him for significantly lesser fee and wages. Hard to turn down that sort of wages and first team promises when you are at such a young age. Also we are the one's that rejected him and Chelsea was always his first choice.

I'd buy my agent a Ferrari for getting me that deal.

Er.. no, they wouldn't, he was always going for insane money because that's how Southampton are operating in this transfer window. The Lallana & Chambers deals tell you all you need to know.

If you were a real Chelsea fan you'd sign for Chelsea.

Lallana went for 25m and Chambers for 16m. Going by that, how come 19yo Shaw goes for 28-30m? Him being a Chelsea fan influenced the fee atleast to a slight extend.

That's CRAZY money for both Lallana & Chambers, even worse than Shaw. Far worse, especially since Shaw was the best natural left back in the premier league last season.

Not sure that's true. Journalists have said that Shaw wanted to move to United and only United after hearing of their interest in January, i.e. after hearing how much they'd pay him he didn't care about Chelsea (unsurprisngly).

Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw and soon Callum Chambers have been hocked by Soton over the years. James Ward-Prowse still remains but I wonder who will be promoted this year.
