The town is already unbearable with comments like "they are shit and we will do them etc" They won't beat us over two legs, if it was one I would say they have a chance but over two, no way. I don't really like the idea due to tradition reasons, but make me wonder why did top English and Spanish clubs backed off so quickly and shamefully on previous attempt. It was obvious FIFA/UEFA got angry, but they gotten angry because they were terrified. It was obvious from the start they can't do shit with their threats from law standpoint, but also practical one – yeah, even if they could ban anyone, good luck with your tiny little football without Real, United, PSG, us and whoever else. The UCL wont be the same thing without the Spanish and Italian teams and the SL wont be anything without the English or German teams. Cant see how they will make this work in any way. As part of the Premier League’s Owners’ Charter agreed in June 2022, clubs said they would not “not engage in the creation of new competition formats outside of the Premier League’s rules”. Manchester United said after the ruling: “We remain fully committed to participation in Uefa competitions, and to positive cooperation with Uefa [and] the Premier League.” I'm not sure PL team will be joining.
