Capello is finally growing some balls if he did it this time last year England might have had a better world cup campaign.

The irony is he drops Terry over a newspaper rumour that both parties denied and the tabloids later apologizes for yet he can appoint Rio "i failed a drugs test" Ferdinand and Steven "i hit DJ's" Gerrard, those 2 broke the law JT didnt yet those 2 are 1st and 2nd choice, what a joke!!!!!

As far as im concerned Capello was weak and bowed down to the anti Chelsea, England "fans" (and i use that term loosely and with extreme hestitation) infact ill be estatic iff all the Chelsea players retired from England now its a joke there, i support England at every other sport but it is so hard to support them at football when you have twats of "fans" supporting them. In all honesty if McEachran choses Scotland over England i will be estatic.

Ahahahahaha Rio's crying over it..

Rio Ferdinand is "very upset" over plans to reinstate John Terry as England captain, a source close to the player has told BBC Sport.

The source claimed England boss Fabio Capello has been persuaded to re-think his stance by "certain London-based media" close to centre-half Terry.

Franco Baldini, Capello's number two, has already spoken to current England vice-captain Steven Gerrard about the situation.

The Liverpool midfielder, who is currently sidelined with a hernia injury, is said to be comfortable with Terry's likely reinstatement.

At least Gerrard knows who the real captain is ;)

I don't think Terry should be captain. Even though all that shit from last year appears to not actually be true, Capello stripped him and said Terry won't be captain again, so even if it's for the next game or the next 10 games Terry should never be given captaincy under Fabio Capello, if he wants to stay true to his word.

That's my problem with it all is that Capello should just stick to his stupid monotone word and have Barry or anyone but Terry lead the team out.

Is this reinstating of the captainship just for the 1 game or the forseeable future btw? That's what I don't get about all this Rio Ferdinand comments, in the last 20 England games he's probably played about 5 games anyway, injured fool. If him or Gerrard were fit there wouldn't be a problem anyway.
