chrismada9 1,948
Shocked, angry & upset.Yesterday one of my friends, committed suicide. No-one knows why or what caused it, he didn't have any exam pressure and was one of those types who always smiled and you could share a joke with. No-one disliked him or had any bad word to say about him because the type of person that he was didn't warrant it. We all miss him so much. I just saw him on Thursday, we played football. On Friday he did it. His family is shattered and I would not wish what they're going through on anyone. My big regret is not talking to the guy enough. A big hearted person who will truly be missed. The world has lost a humble, honest, intelligent and positive person. He was only 18 and it's such a shame his life's gone. Through our memories, he lives in spirit. I love you brother.Dude that is shocking and horrible news!! My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time!!

I won't even think how do his parents feel after something as tragic as that. R.I.P.

Just keep his memory alive and help others recognize the signs of depression. ((HUGS)) I am saying prayers for him and his family!
LDN Blue 7,903
Thanks everyone for your kind words.. It's been 3 days now. Still can't get my head around it or even understand why/how! I saw him 4 days ago. None of this makes sense, but it is what it is..
Fulham Broadway 17,332
Blimey LDN -just saw this as dont usually look at this thread. Awful for his family to lose what is to them, a child. Anniversaries will be particularly painful as I have experience of a similar thing -but its best to celebrate the persons (albeit short), life whenever possible

Milan 17,959
That is horrible to read and hear. Did he write a letter to say goodbye? In most cases people do it...Anyway I feel really, really sorry for his family. Thoughts are with them.
LDN Blue 7,903
There's a note. I do not want to hear the content of it.. Just knowing it exists makes me feel numb. Can't believe this. Just goes to show, you never truly know someone..

The pain in their eyes is unbearable & cannot be imagined. I'm glad my exams are finished. Hopefully I can help them with any preparations for the.. Goodbye. BluesChick 1,260
Stay strong LDN and try to concentrate on the happy times with your friend. I pray the note he left behind will give his family some answers/closure and not more questions.I wish I could take some of your pain for you, I know how difficult unexpected deaths are and this kind is the worst. Know you aren't alone and if you need some one to "listen" you can contact me anytime. ((HUGS))

zolayes 14,489
it is always sad when a life is cut short, but when it is self inflicted the grief for those left behind is immeasurably greater. RIP

((HUGS))Thank you very much, I shall do if I ever need it.We spent a few hours going through all the many pranks he played on us and all the jokes were shared, today with his family. They enjoyed hearing how happy he was when doing so & for a few hours their minds were in a sense of.. Bliss. it is always sad when a life is cut short, but when it is self inflicted the grief for those left behind is immeasurably greater. RIPAgreed mate. CFC-Lloydy 38
Looks like I'm not the only one who's had a horrible week! A normal Saturday night celebrating a mates birthday, ended in me getting assaulted and mugged for my iPhone I'm slowly getting better after having my head glued back together after 3 bludgeons to the head with a wheel wrench, bruised ribs and crack teeth. On a better note I have a contender for the best girlfriend ever, who bought me the new Chels shirt and replaced my angry birds case in sympathy, bless her! iPhone has been replaced, (now the funky White one!) so now I can catch up on what this crazy club is doing to us and see who's coming in this summer! Up The Chels!
