Isn't Cavanis issue right now is that he is playing second fiddle to Ibrahimovich?

Why would he come here just to be second fiddle. hell...he wouldn't even be a starter here right now. At least PSG still starts him out of position.

If they buy Di Maria might aswell consider it the same situation even worse since Costa < Ibra.

Cavani at his presser yesterday

"Am I sure I will stay? I am sure I am staying, why would I not be? I am good in Paris, under contract & calm. I feel good here."
"But, as I have already said, it does not only depend on the player. It also depends on the club & what is going on for them."
"My position? We had some small problems with that & I wanted to deal with it. But I feel good about it now. No longer an issue."

So with Mourinho saying yesterday that he liked the look of Torres out wide and that he may indeed use a formation with 2 strikers sometimes this season, maybe targeting Cavani makes a bit of sense. He's very versatile, works tirelessly, and scores loads.

Still not buying that we're interested yet and we don't especially need him, but I wouldn't say no.

Well if we get him 40 million then we virtually hand back psg the 40 they payed for David luiz. Lol

Yet Luiz wasn't up to it and Cavani is top quality. PSG are close to getting Di Maria but for a huge amount of cash, they apparently need to sell in order to comply with FFP and the viable option is Cavani for a number of circumstances.

A Spanish journalist, working for Marca, quoting Diego Forlan saying Cavani is a fan of Chelsea.

Don't know how wise it would be to have Costa and Cavani in the same team but if both of them are up for the challenge and Jose wants to get Cavani, I wouldn't say no if we somehow managed to offload Torres first. Costa, Cavani, Drogba would be one of the best strikeforces in world football and a nice change from last seasons Eto'o, Torres, Ba.
