He's still only 21. Now I don't have much faith in him but we still need to try and do what we can not just for the club's benefit, but because he's a young man we probably have a duty to.

That left foot is magical at times.

Maybe the best scenario for McEachran is a loan move to Vitesse

His skill-set would suit that league and he would be able to develop with a bit more freedom in a league that is known to give youngsters a chance

Every player we loan is one successful stint away from profit, and he's still only 21.

We loaned Matic to Vitesse at age 22!.. now look.

He seems like a deep lying playmaker to me. And they blossom later in their careers like modric and xavi.

Modric and Xavi had and showed more balls and work ethic at Josh's age though. He has the worst kind of problem for a youngster, laziness, lack of focus and balls.

Finally..some good news about McEachran

Hope he impresses Mourinho (for a spot on the bench) or some other club's scout at Vitesse

Whilst I was chatting with a Boro scout today he mentioned Josh and apparently he was in Magaluf a few weeks back playing the big I am, he said "Boro where shit" and one lad said "Oi they gave you a chance when you needed it" He replied with "I'm fucking better the them and I can play for who I want.

Obviously this can be lost in translation but this is what he said. If true, a shame, because Boro treat all loan players with the utmost respect, if they didn't people like Big Ken wouldn't be back there.

Can you blame him though? If I remember correctly, didn't Boro's previous manager play him out of position half the time?

If Josh said those things, it's a bit disrespectful to Boro...but then again, he was speaking the truth....Boro are just not that good at the moment..

Even if that's the truth, it's still not the way to go around saying things like that when he hasn't achieved anything in his career.

Jason has quite simply answered what I was going to put.
