Yeah, I knew all of that. I went to a strict Catholic school and WWI and II were considered very important things to learn about. It was required that we wake up at dawn every ANZAC Day to march, say a prayer and hoist the flag and eveything. Every Armistice day we had to arrange a massive assembley where local veterans gave short speeches after the minutes silence. And I still remember the significance of the poppy from learning about it when I was 8. So it's not like I'm arguing without an idea of anything.

Not taking a shot at you or anything but you should look at your drunk self before judging others. Getting drunk doesn't actually help the veterans.

I know because i'm drunk as well.

I know what I'm like drunk because almost a quater of my life getting drunk often. Which is a sad fact because I'm only 19.
