I made a comment about two anonymous women implying that they are ugly, which I still think they are. It was offensive to them, yes, but it was a joke because it was meant to make people laugh.

Your comments yesterday were rude and offensive and said straight to the member's face. There is no need for all the moral analysis because the simple fact is, that is against forum rules.

I spoke to The Skipper afterwards to clear any thick air, because I didn't even entertain the thought that what I said could have been offensive until you came to "rescue". What did he respond? "No worries, no offence taken man, I found it quite funny to be honest haha. I think Choulo was more offended than I was!"

You're just being uptight here. What did you consider so offensive anyway? I said he looked like a young Mikel, or unless you consider Mikel ugly, then there is nothing wrong with that. Then I expressed my skepticism whether those pictures were real or not due to the fact that they seemed too "professional" and because the girl was too pretty to be true (again, a compliment more than anything). What I really did was praise them. What you did was downright insulting to two human beings. How you can keep justifying your hypocrisy is beyond me.

As a moderator, I am asking you to, please, refrain from making posts that could be found offensive by other members in the future.

As a moderator? Do you think by stressing your position you can scare me away? I was never being offensive, all I did was praise people. Even the 'plough' comment was meant to indicate that I find the person good looking, the choice of words was supposed to be humorous and intentionally boorish, but I guess your understanding of humour is limited to having stabs at less fortunate people behind their backs.

You know that my comment was not aimed at what you said to Skipper but what you said to whatthemata, I only added the other comment to point out that you were acting strangely. And as it happens that it is my duty here to make sure that no one is offensive to another member because it's part forum rules. If I wasn't a moderator, I would not have said anything.

If you feel that my comment in the other threads is offensive as well, then report it and the admins will take action if they feel you are.

What good would it do? I don't really care enough, plus I know it would achieve nothing, you're one of the staff. I want to make you realize you were wrong, not to punish you.
