Milan 17,957
He should be banned from playing at the moment, let alone on the right wing. Sloppy, awful first touch... Sheva. and Muzchap
BleedsBlue 1,549
Ramires must adapt to the double pivot role as I see Moses/Marin the ideal candidates for the right winger role. The departure of Raul probably does make sense now. Kinol 337
Ramires lack defensive skills, strenght, ball controll and passing. Thats basiclly everything a pivot player needs!!! For me its clear: As long as we play the 4-2-3-1 formation ramires aint good enough to be a starter. And please dont come with the "well then lets change back to the 4-3-3 formation" because no, i dont want us to change formation just so it suits players like Lampard and Ramires. Weve played 4-2-3-1 ever since RDM came and its with that formation we won the fa cup and CL. Why should we just suddenly change to a formation our players havent even used. Muzchap 8,966
please not RW for ramiresAgreed - he runs into trouble or gives the ball away. It's not his natural position so not critisicing him - annoyed he is being asked to play there...It like asking a tyre fitter to change your clutch - he has most of the tools available, but theory and practice are 2 different things.Moses has shown he can start, so hopefully Ramy on RW will phase out... zolayes

Jase 43,479
Thinking back about yesterday, find it ridiculous that RDM decided to stick Ramires at RW till the 60-70th minute. Bosingwa was playing at LB for much of the game and RDM didn't even bother to bring Moses on way earlier to test him there.

Yup, that's why people have been frustrated, especially me...We know ALL of Bosys weaknesses, so who better to exploit them, than us Oh well role on Stoke... Tomo 21,751
After Terry's goal line clearance (following Mikel's backpass) the ball fell to Ramires in his own box and he used his burst off pace to escape from danger.Ive missed that side to Ramires and one we will never see at right mid unless were facing a side that plays the high line. Luckily for us, he didn't put in the cross when he could have done so actually.
Rambo 1,729
It's a travesty how he's played on the wing...Ramires has limited skill sets to do well there.

Muzchap 8,966
From a key player into borderline Liability. Feel sorry for Ramires and what RDM is doing to him.THIS!!!I hate moaning about him - the guy gives 100% every game and is a great player - but he's been giving the shitty end of the stick... ESPECIALLY as we have DEDICATED players to play in that EXACT position...Just wish he'd be given a chance alongside Mikel.. If he picked the ball up - he could run forward and push it wide to the wings (Hazard or Moses) or through the centre (Oscar/Mata/Torres/Studge - whoever is playing) - then Mikel could sit deep and his lack of pace would not be exposed as much, because Ramires has an abundance of pace!If I, as an ageing 36 yr old Champ Man/FM/Fifa guy can see this (not to mention all of the other posters) - WHY can't RDM? It's just got to be worth trying.... Ramires gives so much and is getting so little lately... I know I'll end up not liking him - but I do really like him... You cant just take any player and put them there if you want to build a really good and solid team. I mean just watch Jack Wilsheres performace vs Barcelona in 2011. The way he held the ball and delivered it around. Thats the type of DM we need to play with Mikel, not Ramires with bad strenght, ball controll and passes. And you mentioned that Ramires can run with the ball and push it forward... first of all just running away is easier said than done. He might aswell lose the bad again, especially against better teams. Secondly if you have watched the football movie "Goal!" you might remember the scene when the coach shows the main character (cant remeber his name) that passing is a much faster way of getting the ball forward than running. Thats my answear for you too.

Spike 12,049
What about"RAMI Y U NO LEARN TO SHOOT FROM your BUD OSCAR?"He had about five seconds inside the box to take the shot but instead he passes to Torres who surrounded by Bianconeri and wasn't even facing goal.
