chrismada9 1,948
Yeah we pissed Real Madrid and the agents off by putting Robinho's shirt online before he'd been officially announced as a Chelsea player so they pulled the plug.Yeah but before all that, Calderon never wanted to sell Robinho to us in the first place, so he kept twisting the saga, making tabloids look like idiots and dragging it on until deadline day.In the background, it was Robinho who was looking for a move away from Real Madrid because of a fallout with Bernd Schuster, and he mentioned how good he would play in attack for Chelsea.Suddenly, some arab comes to a random mid-table club Man City and and spends all his millions on him, because Calderon didn't want to sell to us, and Man City just simply had the money. Now he wants to leave, I wonder if he regrets joining City over us. If Chelsea was his destination, the route would have been a lot more smooth. Players always go for the money, not the pride, and that's wrong!! We spent whole a lot of millions on useless players and we still are called Chel$a or things like that. And it's not like our players have small wages. Swoopz 183
Robinho - Tevez - Silva? All been players who rejected Chelsea for City, and what happened? City = 5th Chelsea = 1st.This statement is so stupid and inaccurate that it hurts my head. Stop spreading propaganda.

chrismada9 1,948
the best thing to do is wait... it's not even July 1st yet, Spain haven't been knocked out of the World Cup, so it's not as if anything is going to be sealed any time soon!

LDN Blue 7,903
Reports in Spain suggest Manchester City are close to reaching an agreement for Valencia winger David Silva. RX8 40
So much for our hopes.. http://www.skysports...6235979,00.htmlForget Silva for 2 Reasong...Silva love Valencia.... and he is leaving because that will help money problem so he has no choice... at this point in money we can not compite with City, Real or Farza... And the other one is that silva are not to ambicios player... so as long city offer him big salary... he is going to stay there...

We Hate Scouse 10,330
We're still one of the richest clubs in the world so I think you are all overreacting,It's just complete ignorance! People seem to think we have no money any more and we won't be signing players. I don't know why there saying this. Perhaps because in the papers they are saying other clubs have 'beat' us to these signs.Remember folks - Stories sell!
The Big Drog 1,110
I think we can officially forget about this one. He has agreed a 5 year deal with City, as reported by Sky Sports and City's own website.
Randall 315
We're a fucking joke of a club, this young talented player gave us a come-and-get-me and we let him join Man Shitty. We're going to end up signing no-one again and playing with a team of pensioners and then have a massive worry next summer when we get raped on prices because teams know we HAVE to sign people. Fucking ridiculous, wouldn't be surprised if we sign benayoun and no-one else. Fucking joke.
LDN Blue 7,903
Who wants to bet we won't sign Aguero? But fuck me. Manchester City's squad next season will be unbelievable!
Kostas 1,468
I would be more worried about City getting stronger with each transfer.Last year they proved that they were already capable of beating most teams or at least getting a draw against top teams like United. If they sort our their consistency I think they will be much more serious title challengers than Arsenal.Letting them sign players like Silva only makes them a bigger threat. Valencia were probably asking for too much, Abramovich wants to keep a lid on how money is going and good on him! We don't want to end up like Liverpool and Manchester United with £million debts. We don't ACTUALLY need Silva, we have enough talent in our squad to last another few years, Ancelotti knows what he's doing.
