zolayes 14,489
Last night ESPN showed our Carling Cup final against Arsenal . arse scored first and drog equalised.at half time a typical Jose substitution maka off Arjen on . It was Arjen at his very best ..his speed dribblinghis control. The final killer ..a great dribble and perfect cross for drog to head the winner.. What a pity he became injury prone for us .. What he could do for us now even as an impact player, coming on for the last 30 mins against tiring opponents.. Sighs ,,still it was good to see those golden moments again
Aesthetic Relic 301
Great player....shit attitude. In his final season with us it was story after story in the press about him leaving then staying then leaving then staying....he fucked about that much I wanted shot of him. BlueLion. 21,491
He's been close to absolutely brilliant for Bayern this season. Well, at least what little I've seen of him. Decent scoring record this year as well, his end product seems to have improved greatly but the Bundesliga is a little different to the Premier League. Savvy bit of business selling him for the amount we did; I think we made £14 million or so on him.
Kez 2,727
Great player but snapped like a twig.
Laylabelle 9,539
Yeh he'd come back from injury, find the dodgy part of the pitch and end up being carried offBut yeh defiintly great player .made a differnce when he was on the pitch and shame didnt work out
Badboy 1,526
Great pace great dribble great player, that blackburn player finished his unbeatable dribble ability !. I would rather have malouda though at least we are going to have him for most games of most of the seasons he is here.
cfc-meleady 192
Absolutely loved him!! quality player with great creativity...pity we let him go, he was one of my favorite players at the time,
EskWeston 696
Robben was pure class, and exactly the type of player we have missed since him and Duff moved on....
Rambo 1,729
Was too injury prone, needed to let him go. He was amazing for us though.
Blueboy 14
It's a shame we sold him as he has great quality, but he was a way too expensive player for us due to the fact he's injury prone and would be forever.
Kajo 176
Arjen is one of the players who should never leave SB. He brings magic to SB and magic disappear when he go to RM.
Luke 60
Amazing player, his dribbling was world class, his pace was lightening quick, he scared defenders, sadly, it didnt work out during his final season with us, and its a shame we dont have a winger with them qualities now. Gianfranco_Z 202
Makalele could skin players better I reckon.
Steve 10,227
He was amazing when he was actually playing but he was always injured. The money we got for him was very good and we cant really complain. Would love to have him back atm but We need someone similar to him now to play down the wing, someone who can skin players with ease and get a decent cross into the box. EskWeston 696
Yes Robben was without doubt injury prone, but when you consider where we have gone since i would have taken an injury prone Robben any day. Because when he was fit he was pure class. Some of the things he did in his first season were just brilliant.
.sum41 229
Robben again saved Bayern's ass.

Ok Malouda is no Robben quality wise but he is a very good player and he stay's fit for most of the season. If we kept Robben, Malouda would have limited game time leading him to leaving. Badboy 1,526
but think of using Robben as an impact sub ...coming on after 60 mins ....Knowing dutch people he will get very angry being an impact sub. I think stoch can give us that verve down the wing he is probably just as fast as robben plus he is a very good crosser of the ball. We have seen kakuta and stoch come on late in premier league games against stoke and wolves and they have given the opposition defenders the complete run around. This is the golden generation of Chelsea youth, our young players are fantastic and romans investment in youth is looking really good.
