Swoopz 183
Lock the thread because Roma said he is not for sale? Right,we should close the topic Modrić since Tottenham said he is not for sale like 20 times. And let's ignore the fact that we are actually persuing Modric, submitting bids to his club, and praising him in the press. Very different circumstances here.
True_Blue 469
And let's ignore the fact that we are actually persuing Modric, submitting bids to his club, and praising him in the press. Very different circumstances here. That is just partly true,if the fans were interested in De Rossi more we would keep it open, but they rate Modrić based on nothing.Or perhaps we have Chelsea supporters that watch Spurs games enough to conclude he is World Class. Spike 12,049
I got a feeling that AVB is keeping most of his targets close to his chest, allowing him to swoop in when no the public isn't looking. And De Rossi may just be one of them.
TacticalBlues 2,817
"De Rossi will stay at Roma, no doubt about it," Conti told Radio Mana Mana. "I would like to remind people of the following: Chelsea offered €70m for him, a lot of money, but [then president] Rosella Sensi turned it down."A lot of garbage floating around today. Melanicus 5,208
I am watching Roma for years now, because I like football they produce. De Rossi is fantastic player, one of the best at his position and I'm pretty sure, we were interested in him, but 70M? C'mon that's crazy! I think Roma's president is more or less just putting his buyout clause up...
BlueLion. 21,491
It's a ploy to encourage big bids for the player, pretty desperate.
Joker10 946
Daniele De Rossi is a great player and playing great football this season., but seriously who would believe he is worth 70m? especially after the crap year he had last season. Badboy 1,526
As if he will ever leave, he is a roman through and through. He is overrated too, only a bit better then Raul if that.
rantdeville 195
70m is too much. 60m-65m would be more feesable.

Hd123 5
I notice Roma are 10th in Seria A. How is his form? I know we have Romeu, who is magnificent, but a swap for Mikel wouldn't be a bad deal. I seriously reckon Mikel would be a fantastic player in their league. Spike 12,049
Signing this guy would be a brilliant piece of business. Roma won't sell him unless he wants to leave and there are rumours floating about that he has been a bit unsettled in the Eternal City the past few years.+ His beard is awesome. It makes Alonso's look like fuzz.
Joker10 946
He signed an extension earlier in the season, would love to see him here though. He has definitely been Italy second best player after Pirlo.

Falcao left Porto for Atletico Madrid just weeks after he signed a new contract. He has been heavily linked with City with Mancini talking him up to the media before.
