Liam Rosenior Thread

Said this a week or two ago, but I think they’re desperately hoping that results don’t continue like this the rest of the way because they want to keep him badly. They don’t want the embarrassment of having to sack their hand picked puppet who they had planned to become Chelsea manager ages ago. Probably before they even appointed Maresca they were eyeing Rosenior for this job.

So if we win just a couple of the remaining PL matches and beat Leeds to reach the FA Cup final they’ll almost 100% keep him even with no UCL football. But if we get smoked by Brighton I think it’s 50/50 whether he stays or goes. That many horrific losses on the bounce SHOULD cost anyone their job at a club like this.

I have been asked to go on BBC Sport London again this week to discuss all things Chelsea and Rosenior, it won't be an easy listen

I wish we could hear a recording of this. Would be great to hear your insight as I know you won’t hold back.

I have said before, the project puppet is their mouthpiece they hide behind. They have threw him under the bus without doing so, they offered him more money than Strasbourg, he saw the lights and will have been promised and lied to, he will have been gullible and took the job and now it's all falling apart he will be crying himself to sleep at night.

The bullshit statements you have read on SKY today about him being backed and them being behind him are just lip service, he's currently shitting himself and they have caused this. Rosenior never was, and never will be Chelsea standard of manager but like our league position this is what we have fell to and allowed.

I'm sick as fuck

Chelsea WILL SACK LIAM ROSENIOR TODAY

George Benson Football Chelsea

Brighton vs Chelsea in the Premier League see's Chelsea looking to end their four game losing run in the Premier League. Chelsea are currently on their worst run in 28 years and haven't scored a goal in their last 67 shots in the Premier League. Brighton vs Chelsea could spell the end of Liam Rosenior if Chelsea are beaten once again!

Deep down I feel sorry for him — things should have been handled more calmly. It’s entirely the management’s fault, not just in the choice of coaches but also the players. They’re just messing around.

This is also true. But he doesn’t make it easy to like him either. Stupid quotes, no real backbone to push back against the club.

I legit feel bad for the guy. Came here with a humble attitude, seems like a genuinely nice person, never bigged himself up and acted like he was here on merit or acted arrogant. I’m sure for a certain profile of club he’d be a solid manager still.

His issue is that he was/is woefully unqualified for this job and 100% of the blame needs to be placed in the owners. They’ve killed this club and now that they’re going to HAVE to sack their handpicked puppet Rosenior, it’s going to make convincing any new manager worth a damn even tougher.

He’s doing the best he can, he’s just not ready for this. The blame is on the management—they’re messing around with all of this. If it were only LR, that’d be one thing… but Garnacho, Gittens, Delap… this obsession with young players just shows they don’t understand what’s going on. The issue in goal too… there are so many glaring mistakes. LR just took the opportunity of a lifetime — I don’t judge him.
