Would be great to see Josh get a chance rather than riding the bench and watching Tosin get minutes for no reason.  Single handedly let Sunderland's striker take the ball all the way into the box and score the winner.

I expect him to restore Fofan to the lineup. 

Acheampong as usual will struggle to get minutes, but hopefully the last match will at least convince Maresca and the directors to start him over Tosin & Badiashile next time.

Hopefully James starts this game too.

Hopefully lessons have been learned from the Leeds shitshow.

 Don’t start a game slowly. You’re playing for a top club, get the game moving, get the ball moving quickly, get your tempo and your passing, get your touch right. Get on the front foot and move the ball quickly.

Dont do this and watch the oppos confidence grow. Doesnt take a PL manager to know this

Tyler Adams is suspended for them. They likely will have Tavernier who is an attacking mid/winger playing at CM. Big bonus for us and we should have a lot of attacking opportunities. I think we will win this.

I honestly think the Leeds game will reign in Maresca thinking he can play anyone on the pitch and win. He has already said he regrets not playing Josh. That Leeds loss could be a wake up call. Aside from Arsenal winning, we didn’t really get hurt on the table for that loss.

I've loved emery since his valencia days with david villa , silva etc. He'd be winning the league with us currently, miles ahead of the bald p.e teacher

I think this is the lineup we should have had against leeds. 

James in the mid is good but Caicedo would be there. 

But yes defense is something we can't be messing around too much especially when the back ups are very bad.

I'm happy the board are not like you that want any new shiny toy after a couple of games. 

They are doing the right thing waiting until the summer to evaluate, which for me is obvious Maresca is over performing with the injuries and horrors defense giving by them.
