I think from this match, we can all agree (and we’ve seen enough) that Joao Pedro shouldn’t be leading our line.

Based on his skillset, how he positions himself, how he drops deep, how silky he is on the ball, how he influences the game, and how he has the ability to create chances for others (just look at how all three of our first-half chances came from him), he should only be playing as our CAM or second striker.

Our team also plays much better when he’s not the No. 9, but instead operates as a supporting forward.

From the way he moves, João Pedro simply isn’t meant to be our No. 9.

WOW. Fantastic second half. Credit to Maresca for not f**king about at half time and immediately making changes. They made a huge difference. Acheampong, top class. James quality. Neto, another top performance. They gave James MOTM, but I would have prob given to Neto. He was fantastic all game. Only downsides was Garnacho was really poor and he deserved to get hook.

Gusto picked up a stupid second yellow which was really stupid to do when we already had game sealed and with injures we have, it doesn't help. I was screaming out for Maresca to take off Gusto also. When Tosin came on, why did he take of Josh? Gusto should have come and now he is suspended ffs. Really annoying.

But big, big win. When I saw lineup I was a bit worried as this is the youngest PL line up in the PL this season. The boys did well. Even we rode our luck a little first half, we reacted well second half and secured a big win. I was a bit annoyed the lack of focus the pundits on TNT Sports gave to Acheampong during the game. He was fantastic. Barely gave him a mention when he came off for Tosin when he was class. As good a performance your going to see for a CB.

Garnacho is even worse than I thought he would be. Shitty player and dumb as a rock on top.  Speaking of having room tempt IQ, Gusto still hasnt gotten smarter. Anyone could see that coming from a mile away, with his terrible sliding  challenge a bit before that.

But overall Chelsea got a pretty good team offensively, it's the defence that looks like a disaster at times. So very happy with another good performance from Acheampong, who will hopefully keep Tosin on the bench.

Maresca yet again showing he will change the team quickly, if stuff isn't working. I like that. Although I guess you could argue it should have been better from kick off. But really with the amount of injured and unfit players, and the team having played that silly club world cup... This is a really decent start to the season.

For the €106m (£92m) we dumped on Garnacho and Gittens we could have had either Sememyo or Kenan Yıldız AND also met the price easily for Maignan. And then sold either Jörgensen or Sanchez for additional funds and went after a veteran CB, especially after Colwill went down.

These fuckers haven't learnt shit from Mudryk, had to waste another 100m on those 2.
