Fulham Broadway 17,312
Really like him as a player at Citeh -good acquisition.
nyikolajevics 2,698
So what can we expect from him? I know very little about him as I didn’t usually watch City games where he’d feature(Carabao Cup). Few weeks ago I saw against Sevilla, he was good, but not sure what kind of profile he is. Pep likely doesnt rate him either if they rather went to pursue Doku instead of using Palmer
DDA 9,938
Pricey? Yea! Could it turn out to be an absolute bargain if he fulfills his potential? Yea! Welcome Palmer No20! Good luck lad KTBFFH! xPetrCechx
OneMoSalah 8,886
Good luck to him but think there is really one winner from this deal. And thats City. £45m for a player who was never going to be a regular. Also means we don’t look for a more established offensive player, which we should of been doing to compliment what we already have in attack. Another project. Don’t see any huge positives looking at this signing on paper and in terms of against the make up of our attacking players as it is but maybe he surprises me and does very well. But quite disappointed in all honesty. Not going to pretend and say I’ve seen him play barring the 2 games he played for City (Community Shield & Super Cup) this season. Looked alright v Sevilla and scored those goals in both games but don’t think he is what we needed in all honesty. As I said before in another thread, if we had tried to sign him before those 2 matches there would of been huge backlash on here so don’t know whats changed…. but lets see what he offers. I’m very much in wait and see mode. I have no expectations at all because I have no clue how or where Poch will use him. So I don’t know how to feel about this signing. The idea of bringing a highly technical, classy footballer in is what I wanted and that’s what Palmer is so let’s see how he does. Perhaps the lack of hype, pressure, and us not knowing how he’ll be used will be to his advantage compared to recent big money transfers. He won’t have to be prime Eden Hazard from match 1 like Mudryk was. OneMoSalah
Fulham Broadway 17,312
Psychology at play here - Palmer will feel a bit agrieved at being 'let go' by Citeh Allstars feeling he has a point to prove -which will be to our benefit, especially when we play the cunts James and Vesper
TheHulk 2,444
Despite overpaying I have a good feeling about him compared to when we got Noni. Let's hope he delivers.

Duppy Conqueror 1,534
Google didn't exist the last time we had a mancunian in the squad if i recall correctly. Terry Phelan. Good vibes about him.

Terry Phelan. Good vibes about him. What became Google began in January 1996 as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin (plus Scott Hassan, the original lead programmer who wrote much of the code for the original Google Search engine, but he left before Google was officially founded as a company) when they were both PhD students at Stanford University in California, but technically you are correct, as it was not formally launched as a firm until August 1998. Vesper 30,171
WATCH: Cole Palmer scores a great goal for England U21 https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2023/9/11/23868869/watch-cole-palmer-scores-a-great-goal-for-england-u21 Cole Palmer is one of the players we’re hoping will be able to fix our goalscoring woes — not just this season, but for many seasons going forward — and Chelsea’s newest recruit showed today that he can indeed produce a stellar finish, by scoring a wonderful effort for England U21 against Luxembourg this evening. Now he just has to do this consistently, and in a Blues shirt! Unsurprisingly, England didn’t have much trouble with the hosts, especially in the second half, with Palmer setting up the first goal, Noni Madueke the second, and then Palmer crowning it all off with his great strike in a 3-0 victory.
