6 weeks.

Still makes no sense as to why we needed Caicedo/Lavia/Ugo in the same window....not to mention Santos being wasted at Forest.

Lack of planning from the club, seems like someone is playing FM and hoarding all the wonderkids and hoping a few of them come good.

Breaking: #Chelsea fear Romeo Lavia will miss at least six weeks due to the ankle injury he suffered in training last week. Early indications following tests are that Lavia has suffered some ligament damage.

Geez, we seem to treat those guys like a sack of potatos, Lamps flashbacks again. Long-term injuries, picked up during training is the most pointless kind of them all.

This one may or may not be a freak accident but overall our injury record hints at poor prehab and conditioning.

Easy to blame the medical team, any one thought the pitch and surfaces at Cobham might be the problem?

In this day and age I severely doubt the pitches have anything to do with it. Most clubs have got incredibly high standards of pitches and training pitches.

Its 99% either coaching or medical related - I mean it is virtually unheard of for teams to have this many or reoccurring injuries happening each season.

I know players play a lot of games but it is like 6 weeks in to the season too.

My point is the medical team isn't injuring the players, most injuries are in training, that's not a medical team problem, medical teams ain't used until they are needed.

the medical team might have some role in monitoring players and doing prehab exercises, if not them then someone is responsible for that

Yes. Nothing concrete revealed yet but given Poch’s concerns  it’s probably serious again

He said he was a “little bit worried” because he finished with some thigh pain . Sounds like nothing
