I don’t trust Matt Law as a source since the regime change

Not sure, he was probably the first to really push the Boehly consortium as serious contenders to buy the club and I'm pretty sure was in contact throughout with someone as a mouthpiece (Jonathan Goldstein I think). Probably doesn't quite have the same contacts as he did before, but I'd still rank him as highly reliable over most.

Irrespective of this, he also reports on Spurs and reportedly has built up a strong relationship with Poch over the years as a result, so in this instance I would expect him to be very reliable. He was the first one to really break just how much of a contender Poch was last week before the likes of Romano, etc did their usual thing.

Let's have it right, us Chelsea fans love a bit of passion.

If Poch gets a big win early on next season and is jumping around chest thumping and fist pumping the crowd, any Spurs history reservations will evaporate very quickly.

Ben Jacobs was the one getting information directly from Boehly and is still connected to him. I agree about Law, he was a bit outspoken about the new owners at first, but that has stopped and he is getting information again. As you said, he has a source in Poch.

Chelsea currently need stability  after the chaos of the last 12 months and Pochettino would bring that stability. Hardly anyone will expect titles from him in the first months.

Quote

Tottenham's circumstances were completely different from what you expect to find at a club like Tottenham today. They were a team with 33 players, was a team trying to create an identity, to change the period that they were building until then."

Mauricio Pochettino's verdict on what he walked into at White Hart Lane in 2013 has some eerie similarities to the setting that he could be coming into at Chelsea should he be made the club's next head coach. From the bloated squad to wasted transfer funds and a lack of identity, this is something he believes he has already done before.

Speaking as an out of work boss in 2020, Pochettino's words about Spurs at the time will ring true in the minds of Chelsea fans currently. It is already the type of stance on a club, working within a heirarchy and joined up way of thinking that would attract Boehly and Co, that's without his track record of success on a budget in England. Chelsea are searching not just for an elite tactician - otherwise Julian Nagelsmann may well already be sitting in the dugout and Thomas Tuchel wouldn't have been sacked. It is, like many things, easier to say than to do and talking a good talk is only the start of the process but given Pochettino's connected vision for any club it's not hard to see why Chelsea are so attracted to him as a manager.

That clown Rory Jennings mouthing off about Potch being another Benitez... to me it's not the same... fans like him are the reason we brought Lampard back.

Good! That just means that Poch will turn out to be good. Basically whenever that guy says sth, the opposite will come true.

Personally I couldn't give less fucks about Pochettino's history with Spurs but I just don't rate him as a top manager, though at this point he's probably the best we could realistically get so let's see how it goes.

Working to improve some of our younger players over the next couple of years and stabilizing the team as a top4 side would be my expectation for Poch. Once he's reached his ceiling (like he did with Spurs) it's probably the right time to bin him and get a proper top manager to win us some trophies once the team and the whole club is in a better state than it currently is.

For a youth project like this he could even be a good pick but I have very little hope he'll actually come good on the trophy front.

Quick google search and i rather predictably catch him contradicting himself with the "we can't have a Tottenham man" stance.

he should stick to Eastenders.

I saw his performances in Eastenders, they were quite amusing.

I’ve no problem with Pochettino being our coach if that’s to be. I know some try hard fans out there saying he’s ex spurs well now so is Jose and we had Benitez in charge as well ,so let’s back him if he gets it.

That guy is so fickle minded.

Praised Potter to the moon when he was appointed, slagged off Abramovich.

Few months later, he turns over his head.

Most certainly on board with this view, although I'm hoping we can create the right conditions for Potch to surprise all and unexpectedly win us a few trophies. That would be a Brucey Bonus but I'm happy if he at least stabalises this current crop of players and shows signs of structure and progressing the group to where we expect to see them in the next few years.
