I don't get what you mean, they were Chelsea stats not spurs.

I mentioned in the post above we were top by some margin under Tuchel before vital players got injured.

Poch was at spurs between 2014 and 2019 - His targets during those years weren't to win titles. I'll reiterate that any appointment will be asked to win titles within 16–24 months, which is something I can't see Poch being able to deliver.

I think one of the bigger problems Poch and the ownership might face is him not being afforded much time by the fans due to that Spurs connection. He will have to hit the ground running I think. Although some of that stance with some may soften somewhat with how bad a season we've experienced.

Not going to lie, but if it is indeed Poch, there may be nothing sweeter than him coming here and winning us some trophies to ram home the problem was always Spurs and not him.

If it helps, at least Poch never said anything negative about Chelsea. Unlike Benitez, who insulted Drogba and picked fights with Mourinho

Would've liked to try Kompany before Potter happened but as of now I think we need a safer option and Pochettino ticks the boxes. We probably won't win trophies under him but right now we need immediate stability and I think he can deliver that. He was my 2nd favorite after Nagelsmann above Enrique so I'm okay with him.

with Nagelsmann telling us to piss off I am now firmly in for Enrique, with Poch 2nd

and no real 3rd clear preference

Boehly needs to snap up Enrique NOW

Julian Nagelsmann speaks out after withdrawal from Chelsea manager search

https://www.90min.com/posts/julian-nagelsmann-speaks-out-withdrawal-Chelsea-manager-search

Julian Nagelsmann has spoken out for the first time after pulling out of the race to become the next Chelsea manager.

The former Bayern boss had been among the top candidates to fill the void left by Graham Potter's dismissal before his withdrawal from proceedings on Friday - a decision which left Chelsea surprised.

While Chelsea had long insisted that there was no leading candidate in their lengthy search for a new manager, sources saw Nagelsmann as the favourite to take the role and Luis Enrique is understood to have seen the German as Chelsea's top priority.

Asked about his decision by Sky Germany, Nagelsmann did not deny pulling out of talks but sought to clarify the terminology used.

"To cancel something, you have to commit to something," Nagelsmann said.

Can't find the report but Enrique wanted to join immediately to go for it against Real Madrid and also see the squad before the summer but owners wanted process selection and talks with candidates.

Poch did better than Mou and Conte at Spurs. He came closer to winning trophies than they did. Over his time there - they averaged the same amount of points domestically that we did...

This team - once we get a number 9 - will be better than any team he has managed at Tottenham. Poch has proven to be able to play attacking football and develop young talent. He has some of the best young talent in the world at his disposal here. I think he can do plenty here - and win trophies.

How did Conte fail? He turned around Spuds mid way through last season, and he couldn’t accept such mediocrity from such a lose club.

Honestly this speaks volume about Poch and Spuds, that they are perfect match. Okay with not winning anything, just staying somewhat competitive.

That is harsh. It is incredibly hard to win a trophy as Chelsea itself has found out in the recent past. Cannot assume every manager who's operating in the level below the Man City's of the world is okay with not winning anything.
