Their silence could just have been letting everything decompress and allow Conte and the higher-ups to repair their relationship. Wouldnt shock me at all if our trolling ass official Twitter account posted a smiling pic of Conte saying "the boss is back on the training pitch and ready for the new season!" Just prepare yourselves for Rondon & Jack Wilshere as our marquee signings, Butland as a Courtois replacement, and some dude from a random Championship side as a Hazard replacement. Helder Costa or Adama Traore...

I like Conte allot but theres not a chance in hell we could keep him in charge for another year. But no matter who is in charge Tibo will be off. Whether he jumps or we push him we will see. I really cant see Eden here neither Hes sent more begging letters to RM than I get in mt GMail spam bucket. With certain of our players, (and causing iothers to feel the same) taking the piss and not accepting his leadership, its got past the staje of kiss and make up. Unless of course whoever is in our board turns round and backs Conte openly and tells the players hes in charge, But we know that wont happen, Its best for all concerned whether players leave or not to bring in someone else and it would be the biggest bodge job ever if its not Sarri. 11Drogba, Starman60 and Johnnyeye

NiclasCFC 2,582
Sky sources understand the Chelsea manager situation is still some way from being resolved. Talks are continuing over a pay-off for Antonio Conte and until that is sorted, the potential appointment of Maurizio Sarri cannot be finalised. We understand Chelsea want to negotiate down the amount Conte would receive if he was to leave – it is thought he is due £9m for the final year of his contract. As for Sarri, reports in Italy claim Chelsea would need to have him on board before July 1 to trigger the lower release clause. They would pay around £4m in compensation to Napoli compared to £7m if they employed him after that date. The uncertainty at Stamford Bridge could yet see Conte STAY at the club. Not a chance that conte stays. Our two main players(hazard & willian) have showed signs of not liking Conte. The board will try to close the sarri deal once Ancelloti officially resumes for duty at Napoli (Preseason in July). That is time we can get sarri the cheapest or for nothing at all, considering that Napoli's will then have no legal foothold on rejecting Sarri's resignation anymore. I refuse to believe that the board are willing to put the club at risk over mere few millions. Keeping Conte at this stage is too risky considering the palpable discord between him and the squad. Hiring Sarri and firing Conte would amount to ~13 million if reports are to be believed, we paid the same for Marko Marin ffs.

Didn't I read on some list of trusted gossip mongers that SS was somewhere on the 2nd Div And the mighty Matt Laws not come out with nowt apart from us not selling RLC which I'm sure we could have all dreamed up. Isn't there some other Sarri/ADL cluse about him not resigning after the 30th or a bigger fee needed?
