I've learned to not pay much attention to Matt Law, Simon Phillips and that Nazaar guy. They all know about as much as us. Seriously, I find the arrogance of some of the jounalists in this country more irritating, like they think they know everything about the club. They likely get fed about 10% of the inside info, if that.

Huge difference here, City negotiated with Pep in January, while much of the season was going on.

in our case, the season is over. Everything at this point is a formality, club is likely negotiating Conte buyout too.

Figures due to a mutual consent agreement on a pay off. When it comes out it won't read 'sacked' it will say mutual consent.

The idea of Sarri not having won a trophy I personally think is a weak argument against him. Every manager starts somewhere. Klopp hadn't won anything before Dortmund took a chance on him, Conte hadn't won anything before Juventus, Mourinho before Porto, etc. These were all in a similar position to ourselves where they were in a period of difficulty in their respective leagues and turned to a manager that could change the whole culture and style of the club.

The biggest job he has had by a country mile is Napoli and has improved them hugely, they've been a close second but they are up against a dominant Juventus side in Italy. There is no doubt that what he will bring is a completely different style to the club which we are in desperate need of.

The days of Mourinho's first tenure at the club are long gone. We had the squad to play that ruthless, efficient way back then with huge characters and personality's. But as some have alluded to, time's have changed in football since then and there is a shift to a more aggressive, pressing, front foot style of football. We are way behind the times of this. With the exception of Ancelotti, all of our success has come off the back of more conservative, defensive managers and a brand of counter attacking football. It's becoming stale and the whole club needs re-energising.

I'm not saying Sarri will be a guaranteed success. No one is, including other managerial options who have won trophies like Enrique or Blanc, or even keeping Conte. But he would be the best option available to radically change and transform our style of play and freshen up the approach.

Focusing too much on the negatives in my opinion. Most of the players in the squad are good enough to play Sarriball and the ones you've mentioned are some of the few that aren't. Frankly, regardless of who's the manager next season, our summer transfer business will have been an utter disaster if any of those three are in the starting lineup come August.

Luckily we've got plenty of technical-minded and talented players on loan and in the academy, and I hope Sarri will live up to his reputation on developing existing players rather than engaging in a full-blown transfer spending spree. We only need 2 or 3 new signings in addition to returning loanees in order to to have a squad full of players that have all the qualities to play in Sarri's system.

The expression the jury is still out implies there is some doubt and they can't make their mind up. That's not true in Bakayoko's case it's a unanimous decision he's fucking dreadful.

The only glimmer of hope I am holding on to is your point that he cannot get worse, He did play better in the last couple of games in the season. Get Sarri in and get Bakayoko working to understand his ideas. Short, quick passes with a triangle pattern always will help baka make the simple decisions to gather his confidence. Always being surrounded by more adept ball players should hopefully return him to the Monaco form not the dreadful form he has shown.
