The Next Manager?

Not only Jose would be my choice but also Benat, Fellaini & Jovetic I would like to see on the team next year.

Also, some recalls like Chalobah, KDB, Piazon & most of all Lukaku.

Why recall those players if you're going to buy massive transfers to get in their way?

Would love to see Hiddink as director of football with someone like Moyes as manager. He's done exceptionally well with limited funds, commands respect from his players, has proven he can build a team over numerous years, and isn't afraid to give chances to youth.

Some of the old guard have been pulling their weight for too long regarding managers, and it's a shame that the majority can't see that they are the ones holding the club back.

And when we've lost a few matches we can sack Moyes and put Hiddink in charge.

I don't see Moyes joining Chelsea...why would he leave such a stable environment at Everton and join a club where he knows a few poor results could get him the sack..

Well, we have seen depleted Chelsea´s bench this year.

2-3 players bought in the summer & 2-3 recall just might be what the team needs, I feel.

Chelsea needs a full bench, which means 25 players to compete for PL, CL, FA & so on, next year

We need a manager who will build an English backbone to the squad again, imo. So that we can have some flavour of the United Kingdom, with the Belgian, Spanish and Samba mixture :D

Chelsea is more or less turning into Belgian, Spanish and Samba mixture with a hint of English.

Good read on Manuel Pellegrini. Makes a good case for him but also cites the Real Madrid stint as a possible reason to stay away from him

Pellegrini is a extremely good candidate. i think he is as good of a fit at Chelsea as anyone on that list. Most importantly for me, i believe the biggest challenge for the next manager would be to get Hazard, Mata, and Oscar play at their best.

I would love to see his 4-2-2-2 at Chelsea with Mata, Oscar, and Hazard. But Pellegrini has shown great tactical flexibility at every stop, he basis his formation on the players he has not the other way around like Rafa and Rdm who were extremely fixated on the 4-2-3-1.

Another idea might be Rudi Garcia, perhaps someone else can give more intel on him?

As i myself dont know him that good, but from what i've seen from some of lille's games his playstyle is offensive/ lots of pressing and leans heavely on positioning which means our offensive players wouldnt have to run like crazy/backtrack all the time anymore. Kinda like Klopp's Dortmund.

Hes good with youth, examples: hazard, cabaye, gervinho, debuchy...

So well dont know...

My vote goes to Steve Clarke. The guy knows the club and has already been part of a very succesful set up for us. He's at the right age and is showing in his stint at WBA that he knows what he is doing. Let's get Clarkie please.

Would be an interesting appointment.

Maybe he'd need an older head like Hiddink as director of football to help him out but I actually think he'd be very successful here tbh. Hes Chelsea through and through but if he got sacked we'd have all this mad shit where the fans hate whoever comes in after without giving them a chance bullshit again. Hes certainely a better manager than what Robbie is tbh but the difference is one Champions League and one Fa cup on Robbie's CV compared to fuck all on Steve's !

He'd certainely bring back that feel good factor, look at how well Albion have done under him but I suppose there are also other guys who deserve credit like the guy whos in charge of recruitment. Since he arrived, hes been very successful and astute in arranging deals for the likes of Claudio Yacob, Ben Foster, Lukaku even though its only a loan deal, Shane Long etc. Can't even remember his name though.... lmao.
