The thing is: at this stage, we just dont have sufficient information to really assess things. Does the club want to implement the new coach in the summer or now? Do the candidates want to be implemented in the summer or now? Does Bruno Saltor even want to continue as interim coach? We just dunno. But it seems not that simple as some would have wished after sacking Potter. This is why I wanted Potter to stay till the summer. 

We had 1.5 years of Lampard-ball. We know he's very limited as a coach. I appreciate all the intent he will bring to the club but it's a 9-game farewell tour. Nothing more.

I mean the fact that the club wants to bring in just another interim manager. We dont really know the reason for that.

Have they realised that he won't actually be playing for the team?

I honestly doubt they’ve realised anything in their year of ownership. Just been making hugely stupid decisions one after another. Tuchel, Potter, Lampard, firing 2/3s of the staff here, hiring fucking musicians physios, trying to buy every player under the sun (particularly Mudryk for big money because Arsenal wanted him).

Hopefully at the games, the fans send them a message but I doubt it because of the sentimental value of Frank’s time as a player - like before when he was manager the first time. They’ve definitely done this to try and save face, doesn’t make sense to appoint him rationally.

Thoroughly embarrassed that this is the state of affairs we find ourselves in. Absolutely ridiculous. 

If getting sacked at Chelsea & Everton both times for being thoroughly out of your depth and having the teams severely underperforming is the criteria for any sort of job here then we would of been may as well turning to Frank de Boer or somebody. Horrendous. Or get in Big Sam.

we want to give ourselves every chance of success.... they do realise we play the european champions in less than a week and this guy got sacked by everton after 1 win in 14.

Aside from putting their money where their mouths are, they haven't done anything to instill confidence or hope. 

The rumour surrounding Mudryk's purchase seems more likely by the day.
