The Next Manager?

I agree, but there was absolutely no intention from the club to retain the title this season based on their transfer dealings. Absolutely none.

Not only did we see City strengthen considerably and not try to keep pace, we also helped Arsenal improve by selling them a piece that they had been missing since Lehmann left (and that's being kind because Seaman is probably closer to Cech's level).

Mourinho was undermined by the club in the summer. It shouldn't have been this bad, but it was always going to be a step down on last season.

I agree with everything you said but still that is not the reason we are one point above relegation in December.

If I was running the club I would have done the same.

Say what you want about Wenger but it has never been like this. He at least manages to make top 4. With Mourinho it was all gone.

Unless the players decide to down tools-Chris Suttons words, ( and he should know about downing tools)

Well if that's the case, then as the cliche goes around these days "it's much easier to fire the manager then the players" is true.

I would have also done the same even if the players are also to blame.

I believe this thinking is like this today because the amount of money clubs manages in this time of age.

Funny that because of a monetary decision Mourinho is sack, the manager that has had big money available to do good with his squads....

Favre. As interim.

100% agree with this. If not for the terrible start Gladbach had this season, his stock would be much higher.

I think being an interim manager is an attractive job for a manager who feels he needs to re-ignite his career, such as Benitez before. Ramos would therefore make sense.

I do think its pretty obvious it will be Hiddink though, the greater question is who will replace him. Pep/Conte/Simeone are all ex-players and could perhaps adress the dressing room chemistry a bit better than Mou.

I just want to see goals. I want to see players like Hazard and Fabregas (love 'em or hate 'em they have the ability and technique many dream of) free of any defensive obligations. I want the players to be able to express themselves. I want to see a group of players that know what they are doing, I want to see them know how to score a goal.

The one thing out of losing Mourinho is that we got to start seeing attacking football now..no more sitting back shite.

Bielsa rumoured to be close to taking over at Swansea City

I really want to give this guy a try.

I'm sure if he goes to Swansea must of us will be saying later why we didn't give him a stab.

Just for a season just to see how it goes.
