What actually happened was this,

                       Felix

         Pulisic.            Havertz

To

                Felix.     havertz

                      Connor

Potter doesn't play a typical 343, so it isn't swapping a winger for a cm it's swapping a cam for a cm/cam

Why people have it in Thier head Connor is a defensive player is beyond me.

Gallagher is undisciplined and terrible technically

he panics and makes rash decisions far too much

he is certainly not the type to crystalise counter opportunities (which we instantly had as Dyche went for it when they fell behind) via his passing and build up skills

Gallagher is a box to box, Felix is an AM. It isn't hard to understand.

The owners need to fire him tonight and bring in Zidane or Enrique

Zidane is likely never going to manage in the EPL

his English is shit, he has said so many times he doesn't care about learning it

and he has said he doesn't fancy the EPL style of footie as well

he is going to end up at PSG or the French national side

Enrique would be an upgrade for sure

but he is not tippy top of my list

I have wanted Nagelsmann ever since Conte imploded

but he is not available atm

I would probably take Poch over Enrique

and there are other too

I have listed all acceptable candidates many times before

He didn't replace Felix so what's your point?

Kepa is a GK KK is a CB...... Where are you going with this

Even with the good old TT playbook and super conservative (or idiotic) subs, GP is having us underperforming massively. Was never convinced of this false dawn. Will return from the int break with maybe one decent or two decent games and then tbe same lack of energy and ideas will kick in again. Same for koulibaly, Cucurella and Kepa form. They will just go back to their usual shit selves

My bad. Stupidity is contagious.

A CM for a winger makes perfect sense.

Clearly u read the post before posting, pulisic was playing in a cam position, putting a box to box in a cam position isn't that unheard off.

I guess the countless numbers of replies aren't getting the point across.

Bring Luis Enrique in immediately...

He really isn't the answer. We'll play some attractive football, but we'll be found out when it really matters.

We'll be found out when it really matters regardless of who the manager is.   We haven't been close to challenging for the league since Conte left....and that should be a massive concern for the club.

New manager fair enough, but not him.

He's likely the only one available with a solid profile.  The other one would be Poch but he's just a better version of Potter, at the end of the day, the result will be the same: zero trophies.

We managed to beat Pep's amazing City side three times in the same season. I believe if Tuchel had been backed, he would have built a team capable of competing on all fronts.
