It would be disappointing but if they bid a crazy fee for him we should sell him. There are plenty of good cbs out there. Goalies, cbs, right footed wingers and strikers who can’t score under pressure there are fkin tons of. Never want us to spend a truckload on any of those in the near future again.

It's a shame that they're trying to lowball us (apparently offering around 40 million now) even though they want 90 million for Caicedo.

If Colwill was a Brighton player, do you think we'd be able to sign him for 40 million right now?   Absolutely not, they would say 60 million just like Mr Cucurella....

Apparently gone to 45M from the starting bid of 30M says it all

So they sell us Cucu for more 60 million and they want to buy him for even less.

Hopefully our club is not that stupid to sanction that.

£63m, lolol

including salary Boehly spent £118m on the little rotter

£95m on KK

£213 million combined

add in Donkeykaku (not Boehly, granted)

we shit away £400m on just 3 players, all of whom are dire AF

🤬

Easily 3 of our 5 worst ever signings arrived in last two summer windows.
Jury still out on Mudders but can see him going there.
K2 we overpaid but we needed an experienced CB and he had some pedigree so shit like this can happen

But cucu with only one ok PL year was supposed to be a backup anyway was just pure madness. Spending close to a world record fee on him was bonkers under any circumstances even if he had a few promising moments for Brighton. they absolutely rinsed us as did Cucus agent

demanding anything less for our greatest cb talent since JT would be criminal

We know he is reluctant to come back since at least winter, It's not like he came up with this this evening. Why? Well, we are mess and loaded with CBs . It's not like purging all the senior and key players magically fixed all our problems. Actually, it potentially made it worse if they won't be replaced, if anything. It's a first step, but the club is far from getting the stabilization job done and time is running out slowly.

I dont want a player playing for this club that doesnt want to be here. Sell Colwill now and get Caicedo for cheap before he starts getting a dream in a few years.

I don't get it.

You advocate patience for a manager like Potter, but if a top player shows reluctance, you want to give him the boot right away??

The way I see it now., post-Roman, Chelsea is in a poor state. Colwill's career is on the way up.

If anything, the club needs to bend over backwards to sell its vision and retain quality talent as much as it can.

Else, we will just be fielding mediocre talent and finishing in mediocre league positions for years to come.
