This isn't someone giving their opinion or being openly recorded using offensive language in general use, it's someone literally singing/rapping lyrics. It's dumb to be recorded doing it in this day and age but in no way should it be held up to the same degree as someone just caught using racial language in general. Even Kick It Out commented on it the other night and didn't use their usual strong worded approach to these sort of things, just really said Mudryk shouldn't have used that language even quoting something but appreciate he realises that he shouldn't have done so and has already apologised. I think in this situation, a warning and at very most a small fine should suffice. I wouldn't be surprised though if he copped a ban, it is a Chelsea player we're talking being dragged in front of the FA's kangaroo court about after all. And I just saw they punished players before for social media posts they did as 12 or 14 years old kids. Let's just hope it's after Fulham so at least we have Felix back. Not able to do give and go's, never in a position to utilize his pace. Not sure what instructions he received. Sure you and me can think Lil Baby's music sucks (which it does lol), but he has 30M monthly listeners on spotify, so clearly a lot of people don't think that. I listen to all sorts of music, including rap/hip-hop, and when I sing the lyrics along I don't beep myself when someone says nigga (and lord knows there are many classic songs with that word). That doesn't mean I do it out of some deep hatred towards black people, I do it out of enjoyment for the song and censoring would just ruin the flow (just listen to some censored rap songs on youtube lol, they're unlistenable). Many non-racist non-black people enjoy black rap music and sing along the lyrics without hating or hurting anyone, difference being we don't get recorded and uploaded on the internet.
