How it works.....

β€œIf an athlete’s sample β€˜A’ is taken for doping and it turns out to be positive, then there is very little chance that sample β€˜B’ will give a negative result.

β€œIf sample β€˜A’ is positive, the athlete has the right to ask for sample β€˜B’ to open. Or he may not ask, refuse and admit his guilt.

β€œIf sample β€˜A’ gives a positive result, and the athlete somehow feels that he is guilty – and that he may have a prohibited drug in his blood – then he refuses sample β€˜B’.

β€œThis may qualify as the athlete not cooperating with the investigation, affecting the punishment.

β€œIf the β€˜B’ sample also tests positive, which happens most often, it is officially called a violation of anti-doping rules.

β€œAnd it can be a four-year ban. As far as I understand now, the maximum that threatens Mudryk is a four-year disqualification.

β€œIf sample β€˜B’ gives a negative result, then he is not guilty, the case will be closed.”

I guess trying to find some positives, at least it's no great loss for the club.Β

Β

But man, this is (assuming b test is also positive) and even bigger waste of money than you could imagine.Β

There's no cure for stupidity.Β

Surely the club will sue him harder than Mutu if it's indeed true and recoup part of it.

But how much does mudryk have in the bank ? Maybe a couple of mils, never enough to make up the damage .Β
nope, this is pretty much the worst case contractually if true. His career will be all but finished at the top level so even if a court decides for a claim over his future wages those will be probably modestΒ

at least it will relieve the pressure on Maresca to shoehorn him into the side.

Highly unlikely that it was just some stupid misunderstanding albeit but let’s at least hope we won’t recall Sterling lol

Expect the test result?

How did that end? I recall 10 years later we were still running after our money.

Β

I don't care too much tbh. Mudryk never seemed to be important part of the team on and off the pitch.

Mutu's appeals went on for years, up until 2018 and he still disputes that he is now solely responsible to repay us.

Looking at Mudryks antics it also looks like hes been snorting coke (speculation) - it was always the drug of choice for prof footballers (doesnt stay in the blood stream that long).

Most clubs (according to players biographies) keep it in house. They fine the player couple of weeks wages, suspend them and put out a presser about a 'groin strain in training', or minor injury.

This didn't improve his performances lol

And he took it after Maresca said he is slow learner. Maybe something for a brain?

Onana got 9 monthsΒ

Pogba 18Β

His career is not over if this is true.

Club needs to be smart here. Like I said Onana got 9 months in 2021 and in 2023 50m transfer happened.Β

Likely a play by the club to not have him on the field if he goes with the contaminated substance to get 'time served' type thing.

The only thing that annoys me is the Β£88m plastered everywhere, the lad was Β£62m. He is a young man, do his ban, loan him for a season to get minutes, see what's what, not going to go in on him, he's a Chelsea player.

Can we terminate his contract based on use?Β

Mutu we did I believe but there is for sure a player in there, nobody wants a Salah repeat.

Deserves our support, Mutu case was handled terribly I might add. We ended up getting compensation in the end but Misha is a young man, on a long long contract, use this time to train, learn the game and come back.
